  1. Hi folks, I've noticed the quick group option of being able to adjust all parameters (such as fader levels or reverb sends) for all tracks when no tracks are selected doesn't work any more. I used to be able to grab one fader, hold Ctrl and drag all of them down at the same time. Is there a way to get this back? Very helpful. I know I can select all first but it was just easier to grab and go before. Thanks for the help!
  2. Thanks, as usual, Scook! I had installed them as a VST3 initially. VST2 did the trick.
  3. So, I bit and picked this up, mainly for the PC modules but after installing they don't show in the PC menu. Did I miss something with the install? How does one get them into PC?
  4. I've demoed the Drum Gate. Used in on a client's session today and, well, it's pretty amazing. Even if it's not on sale I'm going to pick it up.
  5. Thanks for the heads-up, Larry!!
  6. I've got v9 andv10 plugins installed. I'm a bit terrified to go thru the usual PITA of installing, now 3 different versions. No way I'm WUPing any that needs it. Has this been an easy update for folks with multiple versions?
  7. Installed with no problems. Existing projects load fine here. What a list! Thanks to the Bakers, this is quite an update!
  8. I jumped for joy when I read they fixed the issue that I have always had with PA plugins: VST3: Fixed issue with adapting to host knob mode, and now prioritizing linear That used to drive me nuts
  9. The VoxBox is OK. I didn't find it as useful as I thought it would be (I've had it for a few years now). I will tell you that if there is any way to get the Helios Type 69 you should do it. It's freakin' amazing!!! As a Unison pre I just keep finding new uses for it. I prefer it sonically to their Neve 1073 and even the SSL. A miked amp with a decent mic through the Helios is, well, freakin' amazing!!!
  10. It's odd they release a new reverb during "reverb month" and not put it on sale as well.
  11. I can think of two companies that make plugins worth the high price: UAD and FabFilter.
  12. I did the essential bundle. I just couldn't pass this one up for my first foray into FF. Can't wait to give 'em a whirl!
  13. I caved and grabbed it. Holy cow, what fun!!! The ribbon morphing thing is a blast to fool around with
  14. This update corrupted the license file and I can't get it to work. I have a ticket in to FXpansion
  15. Although they are CPU intensive, I still use these plugins every day. No, I can't splash TG12345 across 30 tracks or run 10 versions of TG Matering but I still can use all of them with great frequency. The Plates and Chambers are wonderful verbs and my kick and snare always have TG12345. What that plugin does for drums is magic.
  16. Good question, Zo. Not sure because the regular version is pretty much unusable in the way it way intended so I don't really have any real comparison between the two
  17. I just did a quick test and they seem to hold their assignments. The CPU hit is way less with the Lite version but it's still pretty hungry. I can't see using this over a ton of tracks (it's resource use makes that unfeasible) but I just did a quick 10-track drum mix using it and it worked pretty well.
  18. I was hoping they would address the horrible CPU usage of CLA MixHub but, alas. Still as soon as the EQs are engaged, Kablamm! Maybe next one. Edit: I just checked the release notes and they have included a MixHub Lite which lessens the CPU hit by about 25-30 %.
  19. Wow!! I jumped on Fender 2. Amazing price! My first real amp was a Bandmaster so I'm looking forward to using this collection.
  20. I have the UAD version and I use it all the time on my 2-Buss. The M_S option is perfect for gently lifting the sides of a mix. Very musical.
  21. I used it for the Helios 69. Very impressive. I've got some heavy sessions coming up that it will be perfect for.
  22. I have all my Waves plugins and others authorized to a flash drive and have my Waves plugins, which is a ton, and others installed on both of my studio computers. I just move the flash drive to the computer I'm using, either my main control room rig or the laptop. No problems.
