  1. Thank you for the tip. I just tried it and the source of the conflict seems other...
  2. I have a trumpet passage with midi notes that went fine. I can do what I wish with the pitch wheel while playing it back and everything responds well but when I press record and go over the track the notes get muted for some reason. Anybody know why this might be happening? Thank you,
  3. Having success seeing the Mk 3 in Kontakt using Minilab DIN THRU but having no love using the Minilab MCU/HUI which I was hoping for in that I wanted to choose MCU under Utilities>>>MCUl but nothing pops up under Utilities under anything I've tried so far. Has anyone figured out what the best choices under Preferences>>>MIDI>>>Devices are? For Arturias MIDI Control Center what did you choose under Transport Mode i.e. MCI, HUI, Both? Also, when programming in Arturias Control Center does it automatically save what you're currently working on or does it have to be saved and loaded somewhere? Thank you again for any direction.
  4. The MkII's Modulation strip already connects to Dynamic and I'd like to connect their Pitch strip to perform Midi Expression to perform orchestral pieces. The Pads on the MkII are pretty easy to assign to Buttons, (that have many options for triggering) in their mapping area but the Rotary and Slider banks are rather limited in what they can be assigned to so while it can learn the strips I don't see an option to use those for routing to Expression. Thank you...
  5. I think Marc Daniel Nelson just mixed the tracks and didn't come up with the sounds. I'm working on connecting with "Underbelly", (You Suck At Producing YT Channel?) when he's figuring out sounds for people but have barely missed him twice so far and I'm just being proactive in trying to source others who might have some ideas. The simulated breathiness is good and I will have to figure out how to add that. Today I put down the melody using horns from the Korg Triton and will then started adding things to figure it out so if you have a "breathy" vst idea let me know. Will work with some phase distortion and keep hunting till I find some ingredients that work. Thanks for chiming in! ?
  6. @ 26:20-ish in the video Mixing Hip Hop With Marc Daniel Nelson is some synth horns that I was hoping someone here might know where it's from or how to make it. (Plus it's great time with an exceptionally talented audio engineer.) I heard a similar sound on the DS Thorn synth available from Plugin Alliance but... Thx!
  7. Readers of this thread! The Blue Cat Audio plug in Late Repeats might provide an easy solution to what I was trying to achieve with The Connector...
  8. John, listening now. Nice work man! Not to the effect part yet but...
  9. Ok, switched the project on today and it's now repeating and I have no idea why, (dang Gremlins). Unfortunately the Send DLY side is automatically transmitted through the other side so it's a little tedious unfortunately. Argh!
  10. Aha! That dial...Ok, both Send To and Receive From are on APP and when I increase the Buffering dial it increases the time when the last delay happens....
  11. Thank you for the suggestion... Under Global Settings I adjusted the Rcv Buffer from Linear to the extremes of Fast 5/Slow 5 with no noticeable difference in how it reacts. Thank you...
  12. Ok, in case anybody starts working on it this is what I'm currently doing have that gets the most delays (I get a Left, Right, Left before it stops...) Original Vox>>Mono DLY Left: 1/4 Note Dly No Feedback>>Instance of Blue Connector/App RCV Only Thru Lvl 100%/Rcv Lvl 60% Original Vox>>Mono DLY Right: 1/2 Note Dly No Feedback>>FX>>Instance of Blue Connector App SEND Only Thru Lvl 70%/Rcv Lvl 100% if I finalize the loop, (between to two Blue Connector instances) it doesn't stay a clean fading ping pong. If I try a channel send the ping pong starts to collapse as well so...more understanding of routing is needed. Or a switch to Pro Tools but....
  13. reginaldStjohn, Thank you for the response. The vid, (I think is interesting) describes a way to add an effect that increases as a delay keeps repeating. That might be the case that Cakewalk doesn't provide for that in any fashion. Maybe one would have to export the delay and an work on the decay afterwards instead of in real time. Thank you,
  14. Trying to get a decaying "delay loop" going ala ITL Pensado video here: https://youtu.be/MUb0Ln5GOCU While I can get a Send sent from one DLY track to another there isn't an option to route the track back into the prior to close the loop. Hoping to source a solution by the Cakewalk Community....
  15. ooooh...thank you for showing me the deep magic!!! So excited about this feature...
  16. Great feature and I had success using it, (after upgrading to latest Cakewalk Update) but I went back in to edit and the articulations I added are greyed out, (no color) and I can't drag the points at all and I assumed one would always be able to redrag the edit points just by entering the Piano Roll view... Ok, closed out Piano Roll and reopened and now the Piano, MIDI grid and articulations have disappeared. hahahahaha.... It's so promising though! Anybody else experience this?
  17. Any feedback, constructive criticism is welcome...
  18. hey hey! I can hear the whole thing and it sounds awesome! Good work man...
  19. Listening to Hostile, Nice playing, tone, (what's your gear?), screaming. Wish I had those screaming skills. Never been a fan of cookie monster singing but respect if you can do it without blowing your voice out. Sounds pretty solid man. Nice job....
  20. The tones/instrument in the beginning between the first two versus sounded a little "Close Encounters" to me. :-D Nice vocals and recording of the instruments. What a great idea for that video! well done...

    This Love

nice guitar playing and singing. I as well would like to hear another snare than the main one, (even though the snare hits right before the tom fills seem "normal" less thin). The chorus and your performance are really catchy and growing on me. Nice...
  22. Nice work. It's raw and yet it's fun to see you work with an effect in there. (what is that?). Thanks for sharing...

    Helling

I like it, nice pop melody, heavy guitar comes in for a section, nice job. Is there a common verb being used between the drums and other instruments? (The drums seem to be in a different space) I think getting them all in the same space would really tie this track together for the listener. Keep em' commin'
