The minimum spend of $75 for the $25 voucher is what has killed every sale for me.
-
They really are. Yesterday my price for Cinema Pro was $322.40 and $30.88 for Wavesynth Pro. Now both Cinema Pro and Wavesynth Pro are $48.86 (my prices include 24% VAT). Vapor Collection is still $30.88.

My price is €99 and I have the 3 modulations I haven't actually used, Chorus JUN-6, Rev PLATE-140 and Tape MELLO-FI. So that would be 20 new effects, €5 a pop. Not the worst deal, but I think I'll wait for a while in case someone comes around waving a voucher.

Great! How did you resolve it, in case someone else has the same problem?
-
It will appear there, but they probably haven't gotten them for everyone yet: Edit: Of course, you might want to contact PB support just in case they missed your license.

I'm amazed how sloppy some companies are with the codes. Earlier this month I bought a Mntra Instruments synth from Audio Plugin Deals. They sent me a generic coupon code (ie. "DISCOUNT2022") that gives 100% discount for said instrument. Anybody could probably use that code and get the product for free. Another time I used a coupon code I found on the Internet to get a hefty discount for another product. That coupon code was given out like 2 years earlier and was supposed to be valid for only a couple of weeks. Still worked like a charm.

Of course there is. Should have sat on the fence about SplitEQ a while longer. This is what I get for NOT procrastinating.

It allowed me to add 50 items into the shopping cart before complaining that I had reached the limit. I got all the Zampler packs, bundles and books. CTRL + clicked each product page open to a new tab, went through all the tabs with CTRL + Tab and clicked the products into the cart. I made four different purchases and I was done in about 15 minutes. ?

If you're planning to get both Physion and SplitEQ, it's better to buy Physion first, register it and then use the upgrade path. The upgrade price from Physion to SplitEQ is $59.40. I realized this possibility only after I had bought them both...

That's what I've been getting for some time now. Except for the extra $25.

Unfortunately, while I agree with you that it should be just semantics, from IK's point of view it's not, which you will see when Syntronik 3 MAX arrives. Or if you want to do a crossgrade. I was honestly hoping to get Syntronik 2 MAX, because that what it said on the page, but I'm not too disappointed because that would've been too good to be true and this was a good deal anyways. So no scandal for me, just the usual IK confusion that I've come to expect and acccept as a cost of doing business with them.

After participating in the last group by I think I'm in a strange situation where upgrading my Total Studio MAX is not going to the best value for money anymore. So I guess I'm in...

Or perhaps my own attempt at humor was just not a very good one. Metallica was one of the bands I grew up listening to, so... And we appreciate it, sincerely. Please don't be discouraged to try again in the future.

You're confusing him with Dirk Hammet, the bassist.

I don't think it's as much about entitlement as it is about the fact that, with patience, we have consistently been able to buy certain plugins for a certain price ($15 has been the target for me). Because of that we now perceive that price to be the monetary value of those plugins. When PA prevents* us from buying them at the same price, they are basically raising the prices, but in our eyes they are not doing anything to increase the value of the plugins, so the price increase seems arbitrary, ie. greedy. If you don't want to sell your products for cheap, then you shouldn't do that all the time. I can understand the need to raise prices if, for example, your distribution costs go up, but I don't think that's the case here. * or that seems to be the fear, here

You can buy it directly from Strix Instruments for the same price: https://strixinstruments.com/kangling-the-sound-of-death/

I haven't bought Synth V yet (and I don't have EmVoice either, so it was someone else who talked about it), but people have said that you can get surprisingly good results by just throwing stuff at it. My understanding is that the more convincing performances are based on vocal performances by real people. At least one person uses Praat phonetic analysis program to create pitch contours (or something) for the synth to add some realistic details. Here's a video of them doing it: There's a thread at VI-Control where they talk about this software. The more technical discussions starts from this post, if you're interested. My inability to focus has prevented me from trying to actually understand what they are saying, so I can't say much more about the matter.

Synthesizer V and one of the male voices? The voice in the video below is female, but skip to 2:36 for an example of dos and das. I bet you could get similar vocalizations out of the male voice banks, too.

During the last winter sale you could have gotten these two for about $110, if you had bought two additional libraries (49% discount + 10% for previous customers). So it's not an exceptional deal, but historical low in any case, I think.

https://audioplugin.deals/ethnic-bundle-by-amplesound/ I think this is cheaper than Ample Sound's previous sale prices, so I'm tempted even though I don't need either. Banjo: https://www.amplesound.net/en/pro-pd.asp?id=37 Ukulele: https://www.amplesound.net/en/pro-pd.asp?id=24

New - move.ment by KIA & AudioFB (virtual instrument)
pseudopop replied to FranciscoJ's topic in Deals
Thanks for that. Quote from the article: Probably speculation on the part of the writer, but it would make sense that they first created something they needed and then realized it wouldn't require much effort to turn it into something that would give them some positive publicity. -

Shucks. Well, let's hope that some other car manufacturing company rises to the challenge. Perhaps Elon Musk is interested in branching out again? Seriously though, I find it bizarre that Kia would produce a software synth. -
First rule of debate: Define terms. Subscription: an arrangement for providing, receiving, or making use of something of a continuing or periodic nature especially on a prepayment plan: such as a purchase by prepayment for a certain number of regular deliveries of something (such as issues of a periodical) or for a certain period of access to or use of something (such as an online service). [source: Merriam-Webster] WUP: Waves Update Plan. This gives you updates for your covered products, 2nd licenses for covered plugins and bundles, plus all the benefits listed below. The products you own remain yours forever, even after your plan expires. To enjoy updates and benefits, renew your plan at any time. [source: Waves] WUP is not Waves Plugin Access Plan. It has, in fact, nothing to do with your eligibility to use Waves plugins, save for the 2nd license. So people who say that WUP is not a subscription because they can use their plugins even if the don't pay for WUP are using a wrong argument. Paying for WUP gives you access to the 2nd license, customer support, software updates and some other benefits for a specific time period. If you don't pay for WUP you lose access to those benefits. To me, that sounds like a subscription, just not a plugin subscription. Second rule of debate: No personal attacks. In a civilized debate you should-- oh, right. This is an internet forum. Never mind then. Carry on.
