  2. I didn't realize it was $50 minimum, works fine.
  3. It only does this with this pedal though. With a Nux 65 or on its own it sounds fine. I also tried the Joyo preamp on the FX loop of the amp and it works fine there. It's only in front of the amp that id does this, no matter if there's a pedal between it and the amp or not. Could it be a simple lack of buffered pedal issue? Thanks for chiming in.
  4. Hi, I just got a Joyo Chopper Z distortion/preamp pedal and I'm having a weird problem. The pedal generates an audible distortion/dropout when bypassed. This happens only when plugged into my amp (an Orange Terror Stamp that I'm using as a recording preamp with no cab), but not when plugged directly to the interface. The sound is like a voltage drop when notes get louder and it sounds nasty. I checked with different patch cables and comparing with other pedals but it really is the bypassed Joyo and only when plugged into my amp. Did I get a dud?

  10. Haven't compared since I didn't own it before, but it should be exactly the same, except that now all comps have external side-chaining capabilities. This is one of their best sounding comps, it's incredibly underrated. It holds up very well to the big boy emulations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RE-fZ3_e9bU&t=180s&ab
  11. if it's got a dry/wet control it can be used either way
