  1. Wow, that whole ordeal was certainly interesting. ?
  2. Looks like JRRshop has the 4KB as well now. Also of interest, I noticed that Sweetwater has the SSLSubGen available on their site. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SSLSubGen--solid-state-logic-subgen-sub-bass-harmonic-generator-plug-in Looks like SSL now has the 4KB and Blitzer up on their site with a rent to own option for each.
  3. This looks pretty interesting. I think I'll give the demo a try and see how it stacks up against the other SSL channel strips that I have. Thanks for sharing, Lars.
  4. Thanks for sharing the info about the one update that had been done on this VST. I had no idea that this even existed. ? I actually stopped using the 50 series because I noticed that the EQ settings kept changing every time I loaded a project. Guess I should have looked more into the issue. ?
  5. It was the first email that I received from them earlier this morning. Here's a link to the online version of what was in the email. http://m.news.izotope.com/rest/head/mirrorPage/@LHoILiLWEpyRjoXgqb__wJtdkiKxQ0F9PJqgjvB8DTlpPr2IxV43MU0BX8BnBqyV_-4-pviVUZvm2PZ7A6gidXpdnPbTXaFYzPtw8NwFz5gzjIKX.html?deliveryName=2022.09.07RX10andOzone10LaunchRXLaunch_Fulfillment_EMAIL However, I just received another email from them this afternoon, and the small print now says this ,"*If you bought iZotope Everything Bundle from June 1 to August 3, 2022, you will receive a FREE upgrade to RX 10 Standard as part of your license for Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition." Here's the link for that one. http://m.news.izotope.com/rest/head/mirrorPage/@ojdn2KskHvNm0BnHk6fHb_UJvl90RYAIhxuLeBucsf1aMh9l2FFPtP48i-V3fcEUDknlfCQbZ8dCIzLzePsRXyvsiEsuAVJuJf5-8Hp1VqxMxDa0.html?deliveryName=2022.09.07RX10andOzone10LaunchRXLaunch_FulfillmentEBRedo_EMAIL This is such a trash move on their part. They should have stated this upfront, unless they did and I missed it somehow. UPDATE! Okay, so I went back and found the email that originally spoke about the free upgrades, and it was in reference to the Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition and not the Everything bundle. So I guess that technically the upgrade for RX would be for the Standard version in this case and not Advanced. So as was mentioned in the email, those that bought it in between June 1st and August 3rd will receive the upgrade based upon MPS5 and not the Everything bundle. Okay, I guess I stand corrected on this matter.
  6. I also purchased the Everything bundle and have been given the RX 10 Standard as well. I assumed that I would be getting the advanced version. After reading the small print in the email that I received from iZotope, it basically says that I should receive the Advanced version. Here's what it says, "*If you bought RX 9 Standard you will receive RX 10 Standard FREE; If you bought RX 9 Advanced you will receive RX 10 Advanced FREE; If you bought RX Post Production Suite 6 you will receive RX Post Production Suite 7 FREE; If you bought iZotope Everything Bundle you will receive a FREE upgrade to RX 10 Advanced." Guess I'll have to hit up support and see if they can fix this.
  7. I have this desk as well. Very solid indeed.
  8. RX 9 Advanced showed up as a trial for me also but after installing it I was able to authorize it to my PC
  9. Many thanks to Yan Filiatrault for posting this. I was originally going to wait towards the end of the month to purchase the upgrade to MPS5, as I was hoping that iZotope might lower the price a slight bit more, as they did for the Neutron 4 upgrade. Oh man, to my surprise, something even better showed up. This is a insane price for this set. What made it even more of a no brainer for me was the fact that I had a personal discount code laying around that got me 20% off the aforementioned purchase price. So that's 159.20 for all of this. FREAKING SWEET!
  10. Guess I'll have to wait until the Windows version is ready before I can try this out. ?
  11. Got my code from PB today and was able to apply it on the Boz website and get my free upgrade. Thanks again to Brian Walton for dropping the initial heads up on this offer.
  12. I am in the same boat. I got in contact with support at Boz and was told to reach out to Plugin Boutique and see if they would provide me with a code. I am now waiting on a reply from Plugin Boutique. We'll see what happens. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's a message that I received from PB support this morning; James (Plugin Boutique) Jun 8, 2022, 08:37 MDT Hi Burt, Thanks for your message. Just to let you know, we are currently waiting on these codes from Boz Digital Labs Support. I will let you know as soon as Boz Support has sent these through. Apologies for any inconvenience caused here, however, I can assure you that these will be available shortly. Kind Regards, James | Plugin Boutique Customer Care
  13. I have been waffling back and forth between which bundle offer to get from the iZotope and NI deals that have been circulating recently. Around Wednesday or so, I decided on just going with the Kontakt deal for $125. However, after seeing the email from yesterday, I have decided to go with the KOMPLETE 13 deal for $199. I also was surprised to see that no one had posted about this offer as well, unless, I overlooked it. It's definitely a good deal for those of us that have been KOMPLETE holdouts up to this point.
  14. I thought about just settling for this deal and finally getting getting my hands on Kontakt but I think that I'm going to jump fully in and go with the Izotope deal for Music Production Suite 4.1 and Komplete 13 Ultimate. The deals by Izotope to start this month off were a pleasant surprise for me. ?
  15. I didn't plan on buying anything else for a couple of months but I might have to seriously consider getting in on one of these deals. There are some very nice prices available for the various bundle options that are listed..
  16. This is a very nice freebie to get and add to my collection. Appreciate the heads up Mr. Iglesias. ?
  17. While I hate that SSL decided to split the Fusion into these separate modules, which definitely seems like a money grab in my opinion, I found myself still trying out the demos anyway. ? After setting up all four modules on a older mix from last year, I found the results that they gave me to be quite pleasing to my ears. Originally, I had been using Celestial by Acustica on the mix, to which I loved the way that it sounded, BUT!, it's Acustica, so you know this thing obliterates my CPU. ? I swapped it out for the SSL combo, and the results sounded just as good, if not a little better, to my ears anyway. This has caused me to seriously consider getting the SSL sub. I know that there might be other things out there that are considered better, but, I really like these plugins that SSL makes.
  18. This is exactly how I plan on using it as well, except I'll be producing in Studio One and the MPC2 software. When I pulled a couple of stems into Mixbus from Studio One, and played around with the eq's and compressors, I was sold on making this purchase. Just like Marc Cormier, there's something about the analog feel that draws me in. ?
  19. Sorry guys, was away from my PC, and didn't see your questions.
  20. I thought about going with this, but I instead chose the 32c deal for 49.99. While I can tell that this will take a bit of time to get used to, I think that it might be worth it. It isn't as user friendly as Studio One, workflow wise, but I do like the sound of it. I don't know if it's placebo, but it does seem to have a certain kind of sound to it. Thanks for the heads up about both these deals Mr. Lars. ?
  21. SWEET MAMA! After missing out on this last year, I've been hoping and waiting patiently for it to go on sell again. Once I saw that this deal was available again, I immediately went and purchased it. Now the wait begins for X-Echo. So, maybe some time later next year, since it is new. Maybe they'll surprise me and put it on sale a lot sooner. ? (I can hope, can't I? ) ?
  22. I picked this up during the PA sale and was able to get it for 44.99, thanks to the voucher I still had. I find this plugin to be quite useful, as it provides me with a pretty good starting point to work from. I follow the suggested level guidelines that are given in the instructions, which then leads to results that i am happy with.
  23. Thanks for posting this. I was finally able to grab Plugindoctor, which came in at a nice price of $17.40.
  24. After messing around with the demo yesterday, and also watching a few of their videos that explain how to get the best results from this plugin, I ended up buying it. I like the idea that it puts forth, and I found that when I tried it out on one of my mixes, it gave me some nice results. Something that I think I will try, is to use this for gain staging, and then the smart eq and comp by Sonible for preliminary tonal shaping. I think the combination of these items together will put me at a very good starting point in a mix. I love these kinds of plugins because they seek to streamline your workflow, and help you to speed up your entire mix process.
