Cant get Addictive Drums beats to line up in synch
lapasoa replied to RICHARD HUTCHINS's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
For me both ways are OK. But copy and paste has some issues if, after copy and paste, you wanto to delete some measures at the end. -
It's enough to go to Cakewalk Projcts folder, find the project and click Delete.
-
I think that Start Screen should be updated. In the File mode must appear projects just saved, not projects not saved. The same in the start screen mode. Every time I open Start screen , it shows first just the low side of the screen and that's not nice. Morever it should be better that the last saved project version should have the checked star by default.

Ripple editing can cause unexpected results ...
lapasoa replied to Panu Pentikäinen's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Ripple Edit and the on/off button are really a gift of God. -
Let' be simple. For every project my choice is screenshot and I don't bother about lenses at all. With screenshots you have 5 (five) different ways to control your workflow. From track view with inspector and browser, to a console view, to buses view, to PPRV view. What do you wish more than that?

By usig drum map it's funny to change some beat, maybe some HiHat becomes snare or you can delete some HiHats beats or adjust your choice of toms or delete some cymbals or add some cymbal. I think that with drum map you can be very creative.

In truth with may topic I meant to know the technical way that everybody chooses to use.

You have some nice idea for a new song and of course you want to record it on your CbB. Tell me please the way you choose to get the right tempo for your new song.
-
Regarding new instruments and plug ins from CbB, I think to date that we have so many things and tips and many hidden workarounds that we have still to learn that there's no enough time to spend for handling some more plug ins.

Need advise on how to do a 'clean' delete of measures
lapasoa replied to micv's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Now Ripple edit is so easy to use. With the last update 2019.01 Noel has placed a tag up on the right side of control bar. Green light when Ripple edit is on and turned off when Ripple edit is off. Very easy. At last. -
At last we got a ripple edit indicator. A long awaited tool is here. Thanks so much Noel.

A hallmark card in the middle of the forum

Peeps...Did you forget one of the best? Craig Anderton! -
When i'm tweaking some clips of a track and I click selecting them on the timeline, as I finish clicking all the tracks are selected. It's very annoying.

I agree with msmcleod. Melodyne 4 is the answer .

30th anniversary Quadcurve presets [SOLVED]

Wow! Who would have thought. Thanks indeed -
After loading a Quadcurve preset but I don't like it, how is it possible to take it off?

Is It Helpful to Have Separate General and Q&A Forums?
lapasoa replied to henkejs's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I agree. -
I don't agree with that. It's like you have a vintage guitar and you want to replace the original pickups and maybe change the body color. Forbidden. Sonitus softwares are a real gem and we want they still stay alive and well.

Updated smoothly. All right now.

In the knowledge base of novenber 2015, Joey Adams published a text named "Setting up a drum map for Addictive drums 2 in Sonar". Recently I downloaded EZ Drummer 2 from Toontrack. It has very good drums sound and pretty nice fills. Unfortunately It doesn't exist a drun map setting for this beautiful drums software. And no one from Cakewalk bothered to publish a text similat to what I Learned about AD 2 drum map. In this way it's really very difficult to tweak Ez Drummer 2. It's a pity.

Congratulations to the Cakewalk by BandLab staff for the new forum so beatiful. But now we all Cakewalk veterans are expecting more. From long long time we're waiting for a button for Ripple Edit active on/off. And we're waiting also for a way to stop the song where we want to do so. Come on we know you have the technical power to make it. Go on!
