  1. Sweet. Adding to my ever growing RealSamples collection. These guys know how to sample.
  2. Gotta love Frozen Plain, not so much their proprietary engine though.
  3. All the Maschine buttons are gone, which is perfectly fine by me. And the screen is finally fully usable with usb-c without the need for a separate adapter. Still very much in love with my Mk1 OLED screens, but this new one is quite alluring. Should go for under $500 though. Or I’ll get it with a free upgrade to KU15CE
  4. Loopop always delivers
  5. Full-color glass display Fatar keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch as standard Metal-touch pitch and modulation wheels with central illumination Hardware/software integration with direct connection to Kontakt helps you find, adjust, and play sounds quickly and easily Integration with all major DAWs lets you control transport and mixing commands directly from the keyboard: record, stop, rewind, mix, edit, and see project channels on the display Precision tweaking for all your sounds, pre-mapped to key instrument and effect parameters Redesigned Light Guide pinpoints notes with a light above each key USB, MIDI, and (YES!) bus-powered USB-C connectivity plus inputs for four pedals: one sustain, one expression, and two assignable pedals
  6. So, does this work in MSF as well?
  7. Another upright? Thats four
  8. Edith: but it looks like it’s better than Mk2, if it’s fully usb-powered. That’s why I like my Mk1 and never upgraded.
  9. Same here
  10. Not that old.
  11. Same here. Didn’t like the look and, come to think of it, the concept of adding that sub oscillator. Having two layers is much more interesting. As for the dots, Tristan from UVI explained @kvr: “Each color corresponds to category: Ambient, Bass, Bells, Brass, Chords, Flutes, Fretted, FX, Keyboards, Leads, Mallets, Organs, Pads, Pluck, Polysynth, Short, Strings, Sweeps, Vox”
  12. Well, it sounds pretty good. Already have their Cadenza guitars and the Amati violin, so this could accompany well.
  13. Waiting for the Manley VoxBox myself.
  14. I’ve never even done juan.
  15. Long time no see, Berklee ?
  16. Morph 2 is genius. Almost as good as Adaptiverb.
  17. The king abides
  18. Damn, Larsy, I feel for ya. This is no good indeed!

    Phew, we're back!

Yeah, bad gateway. But we’re back. Still nine days for the king to return, though.
  20. Love this! Always found Hyperion a bit difficult but hugely rewarding sonically, so this is a very welcome player.
  21. If you’d like to use it for sound design, best to have Falcon.
  22. For me it is, where it highly differs from Arturia. Not as much because it’s sampled, but because SA4 includes 200 synths, as many modern as retro, and serves as an inspiration machine with the new proximity explorer. But I would always recommend to first get the Arturia Collection.

    In Abstentia

You tell them, Larsy. They can’t hustle the king.
  24. Love this channel strip. Clearmountain’s hands are all over it
