I for one am not particularly fond of the GUI change from O8A to O9A. I kind of preferred to have the essential information at the bottom of my screen instead of in a smallish moving window.

On a different note, Groove3 has some nice tut vids on Exponential Audio Nimbus and R4. They are free to view.

Those reverbs are some of the very best available. R4 for character and lush (style ValhallaVintageVerb). Nimbus for smooth and natural (style ValhallaRoom).

Yeah, it's quite strange, as these are fine instruments. I even like those sweet pads in XPand2.

Good one indeed. Still not sure O9A is worth the upgrade (on its own). That low end thing as just part of the spectral shaper so nothing new. Still like the GUI rescalability and the NKS compatibility though.

I rarely use loops. And I still have some 80 gigs of LoopLoft loops from those halcyon freebie days.
