If it weren’t for a limited number of devs like OrangeTreeSamples I’d be able to put my money where my mouth is (or keep it in my wallet as far as Kontakt is concerned).
-
Read somewhere that Kontakt Player licensing got much cheaper last year or so. I guess that’s why we’re seeing more and more Kontakt Player freebies like Heavyocity’s Foundation series.
-
Spitfire did the same much later and more expensive with their Abbey Road Iconic Strings. Still want to get that one, but I read it’s overly wet.
-
I remember Simon Bangs, a good guy with efficient support.
-
It’s that ubiquitous Francisco and his Partners, running amok with my beloved iZotope, Plugin Alliance, AND Native Instruments …
-
Love my Kirk Hunter libs. Even got a $30 off (loyalty) coupon.

Hasn’t been updated for years … -
Nah, I’m being coy, shy and bashful, as Edith would say. Too much in love with too many Kontakt libraries to part with them, like that wonderful Bechstein and everything from OrangeTreeSamples or Soundiron and the like. So I’m keeping them warm and fuzzy on my desktop rig
-
Come to think of it, that Famous E from OrangeTreeSamples must be the best ITB Rhodes around. Here’s hoping he does a Wurlitzer next

Got a new lappie, a MacBook Air M2 16GB/512GB as a swift little companion to go with the monstrous MacBook Pro M1Max 64GB/4TB as my main axe. And I’m planning on keeping them Kontakt free, at least the little one. Yep, you heard that right. I’ll fill it up with Falcon and its UVI banks, Arturia V Collection and Pigments, Melda MSoundFactory and friends, Spitfire BBCSO and Originals, Scaler, Toontrack, AAS, Bitwig, Omnisphere, Keyscape, Kilohearts, iZotope, Eventide, SugarBytes, XLN, Pianoteq, Organteq, Zynaptiq, PSP, Valhalla, Soundtoys, Softube, Relab, Unify and the lot, maybe even throw in some EastWest but no Kontakt, no. Love this feeling. Free at last.

They’re not bad at all in Akai’s new MPC 61 keyboard.

DEAL EXPIRED Karanyi Minipool Synth Plugin FREE!!! REG $49 USD (with code)

Absolutely agree. Would never have gotten that free Minipol if PC hadn’t posted it. Thanks! (Now I only have to check if the serial I got is valid. Heck, it’s in my account, so it should be. What’s this with sending out invalid serials? This is a crazy world we live in.) -
$150 straight from u-he if you ask them nicely.
-
I want that MiniLab 3 (Edith: you’re in dire straits, old boy)

Thanks PC and Zolton. -
Let’s just call it Larryland

I wouldn’t say they’re very detailed, as they’re not that large (and the AS Wurlie isn’t either) but they’ve got this mojo you’ll love (and indeed already hear in the demo).
-
Thanks Craig!

I also have the Purgatory Creek bundle. Crazy price for superb instruments. Busch, the dev, is highly dedicated. The bundle is an bsolute no-brainer in my book.
-
As for UVI instruments: have a look at Augmented Orchestra and Augmented Piano. Both are pretty pretty amazing.
-
I agree. Since I’ve got Falcon, I tend to prefer it to Kontakt. Deep synth, diverse UVI instruments, wonderful sound.
-
Yep, moving along
-
Weird indeed. I quite like that Wurlie.
