  1. Simeon did a vid! Simeon did a vid!
  2. Thanks @wallace Any additional samples in Wavelengths Lo-Fi or Wavelengths Cinematic?
  3. Anyone who got the three Wavelengths banks, do they include new samples or wavetables?
  4. Did you get the software version in V Collection 9? It’s that good, allows you to go polyphonic, and has the accompanying sequencer.
  5. Good vid by Starsky Carr:
  6. Very true. Still quite enamored with EZkeys. Got all instruments except the EDM one. Great product as a whole. Sure, you could play with MIDI straight in your DAW, but EZKeys is an inspirational environment.
  7. The gift that keeps on giving.
  8. Oh yes, you need Volcano 3. Installed.
  9. Get the Total bundle, or at least the Creative one. They’re that good.
  10. https://www.sonokinetic.net/sleighbells/ “Designed for Kontakt 7”
  11. Got it late too, a few weeks ago, for $9 or so. Must-buy. Edith: ‘t was an upgrade from v1
  12. Too late Started with Samsung T1 and now have 10 or more of those sweet little critters. Got three T7 Shield ones and they’re the best. Fast and sturdy indeed.
  13. I’ve been getting these Samsung T7 SSDs lately at $89 for 1TB and $149 for 2TB: https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Portable-Photographers-MU-PE1T0R-AM/dp/B09VLJB2DC https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Portable-SSD-2TB-MU-PC2T0H/dp/B0874Y5XFG I particularly like the Shield versions, as they’re sturdy and fast.
  14. "Why the name JRR Shop?" Over the years, many customers have asked "Why the name JRR Shop"? Some have even called up asking, "Can I speak to JR?". Well, folks, there's no JR here! Just Roots Records was a record label I started while I was in college. When I started JRR Shop, I thought you musicians would like knowing that you're buying from other musicians, and that having us be tied to Just Roots Records would endear us in your hearts. Alas, time has marched on and JRR Shop has since taken over as our great love, leaving Just Roots Records by the wayside. Now you can visit www.justroots.com to see our evil cats! Feel free to call us "Just Roots Recording Shop", "Japan Rock & Roll Shop", or "Jelly Rolly Rocka' Shop". Whatever you decide to go with, just remember that with a name as bad as JRR Shop, we have to be good! To all of you, from all of us at JRR Shop - Thank you and Happy Music Making! 15. Let’s see what he brings back from Vegas.
  16. Don’t sleep on this freebie, oldie but goldie, and updated for Apple Silicon https://wavearts.com/products/plugins/tube-saturator-vintage
  17. There’s a pretty pretty good saturator, still available for free and Apple Silicon native: https://wavearts.com/products/plugins/tube-saturator-vintage
  18. Here’s hoping they will resuscitate TrackPlug with an updated GUI.
  19. I’d say Neutron 4 and Ozone 10 Advanced both are interesting, but maybe not more than $50 each interesting, if you already have Neutron 3 and Ozone 9 Advanced. I even prefer the older GUI. And another downside is the fact that Ozone 10 Advanced can’t be used standalone.
  20. I considered the upgrade to MPS 5 quite worthwhile, as it also includes both Exponential Audio reverbs Stratus 3D and Symphony 3D (and all major iZotope software).
  21. Wow, loved that one. Quite the brass.
