  1. That's just for the main output. Line inputs and headphone output are only 115dB.
  2. Just saying... they boast "The same converter technology used in audio interfaces costing thousands" which is laughable that that's their new selling point. I haven't used MOTU audio interfaces in a very long time (I think I've used the original MOTU 828 for the GSIF I/O).
  3. They list a key ingredient... the ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC and nobody talks about it?
  4. Discounted prices are not that great.
  5. Not sure why they do that when they have a link for all the products in that sale. https://www.loopmasters.com/sales/2366/show
  6. Zero-G's Dance Pack 1 contains about the same amount of loops and the full price is $130.99. I got them on sale for like $40. The right loops can be inspirational and give you new song ideas. Not impressed with Cohesion at all. Sure, if it was $9 I would've checked it out. APD is way too late in the loops game.
  7. It looks good. Wonder how it compares with the more established ones since it's smaller in size. I think "sketch" is the take-away.
  8. So, Fleer... what's yer connection with APD? Looks like you're shilling all their posts. You joined the forum 6 days before them. I'm watching you bruh!
  9. I downloaded the 5+ GB demo and there's nothing to write home about. The sounds are dull and uninspiring, not to mention drenched in reverb. I get more inspiration from the factory presets on my Virus TI. There are better artist signature presets for Sylenth. There's also something shady about the pricing and marketing as there are no real reviews and endorsements as they claim on their site. Their fake sales pop-ups even run on archive.org... LOL! APD will sell you any crap.
  10. OK, thanks for letting me know. Personally, I'm not looking for any more drum sounds. Feels like they used them as "filler" to justify the "10,000" number.
  11. How many Kontakt instruments are there? It boasts 10,000 "instruments", but looking back at the video it shows between 20-25 Kontakt instruments for each artist. Are the rest of the sounds just drums?
  12. Not bad for a freebie, though many presets sound similar.
  13. Not that I don't like the UAD plug-ins, but Waves Mercury bundle is on sale for $2999 and you get 165 plug-ins instead of 62 (no extra hardware required). The question is... how many more compressors and EQ's do you need?
  14. Ever wonder why they bundle so much software with them? ;-)
  15. I had to sell my 2nd gen. Scarlett 18i20. Despite the looks, these are not well built. One of the headphone pots became scratchy. Some of my older external gear didn't work well over S/PDIF (never had this kind of problems with my Orpheus). They boast low latency, but it's not that great at low settings... a lot of pops. The inputs were too noisy for my taste. I guess these are OK if all you use is a DAW and software synths. Since I no longer work with external gear (too many great software instruments), I got the RME Babyface Pro. This little interface is SOLID!
  16. I'm not sure why you're upset over it. I wasn't alluding everyone should just go out and buy what I'm using. I bought my LCD-2's used on eBay for like $400 and I was amazed at the sound quality and detail. People that have nothing to do with mixing or music production and listen through my cans can't believe how good everything sounds. And that says a lot... EVERYTHING is subjective. But I guess not everybody is open minded.
  17. I started with the LCD-2 Classic. Now I'm using the LCD-X and considering to upgrade to LCD-MX4
  18. LOL... I once met a pro pool player that beat everybody in the room with a broom stick. Imagine what he can do with a pro cue stick. I hear that all the time on how this cheap gadget can do this and that. And in some cases that's true. It doesn't have to be expensive to do the job. Now, Bob was telling me about a problem in my mix that I wasn't able to hear on the existing headphones I was using at that time. I think I'd take the recommendation of a Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer any time. Once, someone told me... can you hear the pin drop in your mix? Now you know why you pay the big bucks... ;-)
