  1. I see this too. I didn't think much of it until you mentioned it. I just have a normal secondary monitor. None of my previous Cakewalk versions did this. I just discovered another unexpected behavior. When I open a virtual controller (keyboard), it will trigger all soft synths in my project instead of the one that's track highlighted. If I mute everything but the synth I want or solo the track, it only plays one synth as expected. It might be useful I guess. But, none of the previous Cakewalk versions did this.
  2. Thanks for the information. I appreciate the help, thank you. I had a valid install of this but it was on an older version of Sonar. I was able to copy the files over without this. But it may be handy in the future when they update Sonar again and break things again. 😄 I looked a doing the custom install but it doesn't have a GroovePlayer option. That one is broken too. I'm still working on it. The metronome doesn't do anything.
  3. I solved the TTS-1 issue. I had dust off an old laptop with Sonar installed, search around for all of the TTS-1, compared everything and restored the missing modules. The old Sonar seems so much cleaner and faster than the recent version. I didn't have to wait a minute for an annoying nag screen either. 😉 Too bad it's missing a few features the new one has. Now I am focusing on GroovePlayer. Although, I don't really use it, the error messages are messy.
  4. The metronome doesn't work at all. If I set it to MIDI, nothing happens, if I set it to tone, it hangs. Yes, this moved forward from a licensed version. I could try a custom installation, but the de-install may have corrupted it.
  5. Actually it was deleted by the Bandlab de-install. It worked perfectly before that. Glen, do you have any helpful insights as to how I get it back? I have thousands of hours of time spent on projects that have now been rendered useless.
  6. After doing some investigation, I've discovered that the de-install of BandLab corrupted a number of my vst plugins on the new Sonar, especially the DX plug ins. All of which, worked perfectly before the de-install. For example, TTS-1 synth is broken. It's in the scan directory. It's listed in the registry as being there and nowhere else. There is a GroovePlayer plugin found in the plugin manager in Cakewalk, which is in the same path as TTS-1. When opening the plugin manage, it find GroovePlayer but not TTS-1. It also warns both are unavailable when opening a project that uses TTS-1. I haven't knowingly used GroovePlayer in any project. If anyone has any helpful insights to solve this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  7. I did a scan and found those still in other directories. I am wondering if somehow the licenses got destroyed when I uninstalled.
  8. Yes, I've been using this software in various incarnations for decades. It looks like when I uninstalled the old BandLab software, it deleted those. After rebooting, the software returned but TTS-1 and TH3 are now gone. What a mess. 😒
  9. I've uninstalled the old Bandlab and updated the new to current. Sonar opened but it lost TTS-1 and the amp sims. I closed it and nothing starts. I don't get any errors. It just doesn't start.
  10. It probably picks up radio stations from around the world..... ?
  11. "A License to Criticize," I love the title. Catchy tune. Oh yeah, it's definitey overcompressed , but that's not uncommon. No big deal. The doo doo da's should go.
  12. A bit different and interesting. Nice tones and effects, not overdone. Good job. ?
  13. Could be worse, could have been Worchestershire sauce....... ?
