  1. That older orchestra is underrated in the age of shiny and new.
  2. What products have they killed off? Maybe old ST2 libraries. I do like IK as a hardware company. Those jam points work.
  3. I don't remember what was missing. The symptoms of too much stuff. I hope it was fixed by now without contacting support
  4. I would think it's Apples architecture. The best deal in the Apple world may be their Mac Mini until Apple execs get wind of it.
  5. So did they ever fix the missing stuff in TS Max 5. I can't even remember but it was something to do in Tonex and AT5
  6. I still prefer their Kontakt libraries. While this appears like a deal - I still see the price amount on something is the same no matter what deal they throw. Albion Selects will cost you more on this deal. One of the Albions I'm interested in always seems the same price of $224 every sale.
  7. So is this comparison like Magix Music Maker and Samplitude. Like Home Studio was to Sonar. I remember trying the beta at one time and didn't like it,
  8. That is the better link. The other one is a company known for guitar type stuff. I thought it was an amp simulator.
  9. $479 isn't exactly a deal these with all of these orchestras out there.
  10. Just go with it. I like those low watt AMD CPUs. These thread often come with 1600 suggestions. "well you wont be able to have 200 tracks" kinda stuff It depends on what you want to do with it. I often wonder if the boards is the built in wifi any good.
  11. web development falls under development which all seems to have in common is regression. I found out how many free items are given out because the web people deleted your account and free is the only way to get that account back
  12. Easy pass - 160GB Go with HO or Fantasy strings. I've seen mixed traction on this one.
  13. Fair enough. Some DAWs wouldn't list FL Studio in crossgrade deals. Maybe they figured out it is hard to pull those people away from their lifetime upgrades.
  14. only one moderator is here - this thread will eventually get deleted
  15. Looperator - someone already complained "we are not beginners". FL became popular because anyone could use it. They annoying part is installing an update doesn't overwrite. You have to removed older versions. My DAW shortcuts are on the taskbar and you end up opening older versions.
  16. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1110910/discussions/
  17. Scanning was always quick compared to other DAWs. Their plugin manager still annoys me
  18. Always check their forum. They also post whats new videos
  19. Even though I'm a FL Fanboy this post will be removed since it violates the forum guidelines.
  20. Your price should indeed be $44. This is a special case which is not handled correctly by our website which we will correct shortly. In the meantime, I can offer you the $44 pricing. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you a Paypal invoice. I might do that only because their support is always top notch.
  21. it depends guess if you did 32 bit plugins that are no longer installed my .bun made with Sonar 2 open up in Cakewalk
  22. I'd listen to recordings of something similar.
  23. I started on Music Creator which came bundled with those midi cab;es via serial port that never worked in Windows. Cakewalk, Sonic Foundry and Magix has boxed software at Best Buy, Staples. Next was Home Studio and gave a great deal on upgrading to Sonar 2, which is still my favorite because it's not cluttered like most DAWs. I did skip S6 - they were getting like Finale with paid upgrades every year. That put off some since the new versions didn't fix the problems. When I bought HS 2002 they actually had demos of other software. I was getting turned off by the cluttered GUIs and tried the lite version of FL Studio that came with HS 2002. I became an FL fanboy. I don't collect plugins as much as I do DAWs. All I need is a Mac and have Logic, PT, and DP, I think I have them all covered. BTW Cakewalk was a pioneer in the industry. I do believe it was the 1st 64 bit DAW,
  24. I was a fan of Voyetra software. I have DOP and their staff writing software.
