    I wonder if Izotope is the next Magix - more upgrades but less bells and whistles. Sometimes a great product peaks and there's not much to improve upon it.

    Imagine that there are developers who ar not profit driven and do it because they like it. It is possible. Nothing wrong with making money. I wanted to be a professional bass angler but somehow it would be more like a job and less enjoyment.

    I have no issue with how he does business. He must be content and doesn't send out emails about buying him a cup of coffee. No crying poor. He seems content in how he does things. I like that he is making more videos. He also allows honest reviews. There's too much to like about this developer.

    I like the one from Waves that is designed for the compressor stupid that usually in their musician's bundle. It's simple. Sometimes I wonder if we trun these things into a rocket science. I have yet to see a quality basic compressor tutorial the those of us who are still stupid about it. Often there is not information about attack and release and what you are listening for.

    Izotope reminds me of Magix. $200+ upgrade and I don't see enough to interest me. The NI and PA stuff I probably have. Sure there's the advanced Izotope versions and the other reverbs but with that kind of price when money is tight it gets a meh from me.

I get this circle jerk where neither NI or Izotope passowrd works. ***** it I'm done with Izotope or any other developer until they divorce from NI. Outside of Kontakt and their hardware the NI eco system is ****.

    Shows $49 for me. I got this confused with Shaper Box. Not sure there's a point to getting it if I have Melda XXXL.

    Developers find ways to make things worse. It's either licensing and now it's distribution. Image Line took over UVI and Melda and let them do things their way. With IK I can archive my downloads.

    Not gonna happen. I'd expect NI to do the same but it aint happening. I've decided to blow off any Izotope sales. I give Hornet, Waves, and PA sales far more attention.

    Some of us missed the sarcasm. I doubt Pro Tools will ever be attractive to a first time DAW user. They usually have to be brainwashed in a school for that to happen or being misled by a clueless person working for Guitar Center. Licensing needs to improve and the industry needs to move away from pushing subscriptions. Sure that works for the Rent-A-Center mindset.

    At first I thought there was no sound. Very slow attack on these. The reality is I don't need more strings but always fall for the free plus it's ProjectSAM.

    This is always worth a bump. I think with young users something like mixing has become a rocket science. Look at the endless tutorials about mixing.

    People here try to turn it into a competition and their deals they post are half assed in getting it right. I leave it up to Larry.
