  1. The iLoud monitors should be in a group buy. Those have great reviews. I'm curious as to how well the Arc sales have picked up in this buy. I can't see a Samploetank one working out since there aren't really new libraries unless there is a Syntronix one.
  2. I did some research on the bass one. It seems they like them. I guess the next part would be finding a cab.
  3. VST and 1gb. Can those samples be put on another drive?
  4. Pete I don't know how you sorted that out. I guess the proof is IK group buys never fails in its goal. The same can be said about Orange Tree and HG Sounds. It's nice they added some hardware to this buy. My one regret is I don't have the means right now to get that Axe I/O. I would make it mine. I hope there is hardware again in future group buys.
  5. Uh oh, now I want that little head amp. Reverb has it for $99.
  6. Thought so. That's one of Image Line's pricier synths. Next year with the IL birthday coupon I could get it for $140 and it comes with the FL everything bundle.

    Waves NX

Your right. I've got it on my other system that has the USB interface.

Wow you can still get it. Watch Waves will have it for $9.
  9. A SS amp for sure. https://www.sweetwater.com/c579--Bass_Guitar_Combo_Amps?sb=low2high As for a head this seems cool for $10 more, https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ThunderBass--hotone-nano-legacy-thunder-bass-5-watt-micro-bass-head

I think this one is not one of their phantom sales. It actually went in the cart. I think this is now in the Gold bundle.
  11. You can buy an amp for that price. It could be those prices are to get people to go subscription.
  12. After having some of these type of libraries I don't really find them of great value. Outside of the sung vowels it's like mapping stems to Kontakt. I have plenty of vocal samples that I can dice or run through Melodyne that these type of libraries eventually don't get used. I have one from Soundiron and a bunch from Sonokinetic. I have Realivox Blue, The Ladies, and EW Symphonic Choir which I haven't made use of yet. There are plenty of great loop libraries out there like ones from Black Octopus. I think there are frees one from Music Radar. I am tempted to get New Forgotten Voices Francesca for $8. Anyone have that?
  13. That's where I give it the linear effect. Tracks and patterns match. I name the channel and pattern the same thing. I could never dissect someones full blown project. I find it amazing to see older versions of people cranking out great stuff just using 3xOsc on Youtube. Look for Seamless channel on Youtube and you can learn a lot. I have a subscription to MacProVideo and there is a guy how does FL tutorials. You will also find nice paid ones on Udemy. I think there is one just on mixing. There is another guy who does FL, Live, and Logic. It's interesting to see FL on a Mac.
  14. Adjusted? I find myself making mistakes with patterns. FL works great for dance genres. The best thing about it is the screen real estate, awesome piano roll. I always watch tutorials. Patcher is really great. Using something like Kontakt is not as easy like in Bandlab.
  15. Nope. I got too many synths....
  16. I know. If you work with linear DAWs it's real easy to do that. I've had FL Studio for over 10 years and have to switch my mindset.

  18. Check your account just in case you might have licenses from previous group buys. Most of on that list I've gotten from previous group buys. So many of my T-Rack from v4 were updated without having to buy new versions.
  19. They will probably extend it and then add another tier. If I could afford I'd get the Axe I/O and be able to get anything on that list. Buying a $99 product limits your extra choices after the tape collection. Most like anything else in that price range one would have. I already have a lot of that stuff from the previous group buy.
  20. and they don't add the new stuff to the Max bundle I like their stuff but I have to wonder is Max really worth it? I think of it just like NI's Komplete. They are great for taking up drive space.
  21. I have this. The King just simplifies the process. Most of their stuff is geared to the novice user.
  22. Here's what I don't get. Music Tech is basically owned by the same company as Bandlab. Shouldn't a copy of Bandlab and tutorials be on a Music Tech issue?
  23. Which is great and some developers don't even allow users to download older versions of their software.
  24. I've had a license ever since it came out. It's just one of those DAWs I just can't get into. I find the upgrade price puts me out of the "oh what the heck I'll buy it". Mixcraft Pro is only a $29 upgrade. I don't even want to admit how many DAWs I have and need to reduce the upgrades. Maintaining multiple DAWs can be quite expensive. I was going to dump Studio One but I upgraded for under $70. Presonus is pretty aggressive in their upgrades. I bitched about my Live Suite upgrade but Live 9 went through seven updates before 10. I'm done upgrading the Suite because 3rd party equivalents are superior. Magix is another one with few updates before and upgrade. It reminds me of earlier versions of Sonar. They wouldn't fix a previous release and some hoped the new version would fix the previous problems. I always got suckered into their free 3rd party offers. Magix is on another planet with loyalty. The challenge will be how far I stick with Cubase with their .5 updates since I am new to it. A dongled DAW is quite annoying.
  25. Sometimes you just have to wait. They are really odd with loyalty even though jam points is their loyalty program and they can be used even with sales stuff.
