I seem to have less issues with IK compared to other companies. I can download from their website everything I have.

That's a pipe dream. Chances are greater things will get worse. So often they get rid of the previous people responsible for coding and a long decline to being obsolete. I'm sure it will also ignite the sub pandemic.

I doubt I'll ever get around to downloading the space hogging pianos. The requires purchasing more space.

Check your upgrade prices again. Mine is now 99. I'm trying to figure out what is really new that I don't have in the previous one.

I would avoid PB then. No shortage of vendors offering the same deals. Then there is a reality for me that never sets in. If a have to go through a bunch of hoops I probably don't need it but I somehow buy it because it was a challenge.

So does it change when you go further? Often it is estimated until final checkout.

There is always some anti Kirk bias. If you are into collecting orchestras it's probably worth the price. I bought it when it was only available for Gigastudio. Full orchestra libraries have matured since then. The strongest part I guess is the solo strings. With the race down to zero in libraries that price is a hard sell. I never had installation issues.

Always better to go with the iLok. A lesson learned after replace a drive and contacting many developers to have authorizations reset.
