I find the whole modular thing overrated for me. I have Reason and some DAWs like FL Studio create a modular atmosphere.

Yes and FL Studio has plenty and once you are in the front door you don't have to pay for them. Reason is the worst at fixing their DAW while I bet them cranking out their instruments is a 4 to 1 ratio,

Interesting that a free DAW has more updates than most paid ones.

There have also been issues of still being charged after that period. I think that DAW is slowly dieing. I took their $129 upgrade bribe to avoid the $199 price. Take away all of those fancy instruments and your left with a clumsy DAW.

This forum and KVR are very good about listing iLok. Some developers like to hide their EULA when it comes to machine limit but seem upfront about iLok.

Product Poort'all sucks. After updating Ozone 9 the Vocalsynth was removed from the updates. Open a DAW and Vocal Synth is 2.2. Go to the website and you can only download 2.2.0.a. I have one machine that refuses to download from the Poort'all. Their recent version seems to suck.

Not all produce the same results. Live has their own and I've found it depends on what is converted one may prefer one of the other.

In what way is it better than Melodyne other that the price? None of them are the holy grail of audio to midi conversion.

You can put it on every system in the house and also not have to deal with installers.

Most of my updates fail and it happens on more than one machine. I've had to use the old Windows Installer Clean Up.
