I guess one could learn Reaktor instead. It reminds me of Reason. I have a modular system by Blamsoft for Reason. I haven't messed with it yet.

Have you used up all 10? Will support reset? I've had issues with IK software being a little more sensitive to hardware changes.

Instruments and Loops.

You can have Kontakt on 2 machines and 3 if you have Komplete. That's probably why Halion will lag behind and no one develops for it.

Hate trying that. That's the solution Reason users give with sample based REs. Not worth my time.

I think it's in My Documents. They don't even give you the option of where to install. You can move the loops but not the loops and instruments folder if you want their Vita instruments to work. There was a rant about that one their forums.

Go to Help then Download Loops and Instruments Collection. The downside is the sounds for Vita can't be moved to a separate drive for that VI to work.

These are just as responsible for the price reductions on the VST market. There people making great free ones and then people start buying their paid versions.

I don't get the phrase libraries. I prefer loops instead. I have some of those Sonokinetec phrase libraries, one trick ponies and the newness wears of quick.

I don't know why they bother with the code and there is no place to enter it. Groove Agent is a nice plugin. I'm finding how annoying dongled stuff can be with you open up a DAW on another system without the dongle and it interrupts a VST scan because there is no licence for Retro or Pad Shop.

The background stiff is nice. Now they have a buy 1 get one free. I also like to cover art. I guess loop libraries are bringing back the cover art. The Electro Trap library is nice if you don't use any of the melodic stuff.

I bought the Celtic one some time ago and it came with soundfonts. I wonder if those are the full libraries. I do like Flamenco Sounds and used it to make a backing track. I'd give it a pass unless it was under $20.

I think they are using this to increase the price of their plugins like PA.
