I'm a gamer, so I'm used to Trophies/Achievements popping up when I fulfill certain requirements. I was expecting the hidden gems to act like that and kind of wish they did. As it is now, it would be like getting your trophies for installing your game. ? Really though, that's just the way my brain works. I'm perfectly happy with how it's implemented now.

If it makes a difference, the whole collection price is only discounted by $10, and they've vowed to never put them on sale. Provided they stick by that, it allows you to buy what you need and what most piques your interest at your own pace. *Edited a word.

Haven't seen a price mentioned yet but they did say there would be a discount for those who own the 8dio library.

I'm loving these weekly rollouts. Even though I know the never on sale thing has rubbed some the wrong way, I enjoy having new instruments to look forward to without feeling pressured to buy them immediately.

It did for me, too. I'm actually a little disappointed with the hidden gems, though it has more to do with my expectations than anything. I thought they would be unlocked by stumbling across certain combinations of instruments. I've been loading and morphing different combos trying to get them to unlock. Was a little bummed you just have to load a new purchase. That being said, Free Angels works beautifully with that piano. I've been able to get some real fun sounds out of it.

As stated, it's their sample engine. The engine itself, a piano and later today, another library are all free to download and check out. It has an interesting features that allows you to morph characteristics of one instrument to another, so basically every library you get not only gives you new sounds to play with, it also opens up sonic possibilities with existing libraries. Not a shill for them or anything. I've just been having a lot of fun playing around with it.

I haven't seen one specifically announced but I imagine they will. I believe Troels said they have almost 100 nearly ready to launch and plan to put out new libraries every week. It's only been a short time but so far, they've come through.

The Soundpaint discord mentioned this would be coming to that platform free this week. I'm excited to see how it morphs with the other instruments.

I've been curious what happens if you buy individual instruments then decide to get the whole set. Any discount or would it be full price?

I jumped on it in case it is the wrong price. The sale went through without any issues.

I noticed today the upgrade to Orchestra Complete is $77.61 on Kontakt Hub. Assuming they're trustworthy, that's the best price I've seen.
