57Gregy, thanks for your response! The procedure you described is working fine on my DAW, but it happens that Guitar library isn't the default option when Chord Properties dialog box opens. When I try this feature on Music Creator 6 it works as expected, but on Sonar and CbB the default option for chord libraries is an empty space, so I have to click on Group and choose Guitar, which is the only one available. If only CbB could remember my last choice it would be great, but that not happens! Every time I insert or edit a chord I have to choose Guitar on Group list. : (

57Gregy, yes! It is the chord diagrams above the staff. That has been happening on Sonar since 2017 if I recall.

Hi, I've been having an issue when inserting chords on Staff View, which is I always have to click on Group options and select Guitar to access chords library. This happens because the default option is an empty space (actually, the Guitar library won't show until I click on Group drop down list). I tried to reproduce the issue on Music Maker 6 and it worked fine, but on CbB, as well as Sonar Home Studio 2015 and Sonar Professional it's buggy as described above. Not a big issue but a bit annoying when there are many chords on the song. : ( Has anyone seen this before or maybe there is a workaround? Thanks in advance!

scook, also thanks for the drum map for the 808 kit bundled with Sitala! I also would like to ask a question about drum maps, because I've been trying to work with it to program rhythmic sections on Piano Roll. But also I've trying to add 3 more instances of SI Drum Kit to have 4 drum tracks (like cymbals, snare, toms and kick), so I could give each one different audio treatment. But when I set each MIDI out to a drum map instrument sounds will stop (so I'll need to set MIDI out back to one of SI Drum instances). I'd like to know if it is possible to work like this or maybe there are easier ways to do it? Thanks!

Hi, I'd like to update OP because I found out selecting notes accurately with Set From = Now and Set Thru = Now will let notes to be moved or deleted in some cases they won't move at all (when lasso selecting them with Select Tool). Also selecting accurately the beat marks on Time Ruler will do the trick.

Hi, I'd like to comment I recently added 4 GB RAM to my notebook and also disabled paging file. In general it is faster but also CbB startup is faster either. I had this issue where CbB first start took more than 1 minute long, but now it's faster too! : )

Hi, I've bought Sonar Professional too, and I still have many sample content, like Loopmaster and Sample Magic. Maybe it would depend of when these samples came in, like June 2015?

Hi, on Staff View there is an issue that sometimes notes selected with Select Tool won't delete or move. Sometimes dragging them up or down or bouncing down the clip will do the trick, but sometimes don't. Has anyone seen this before? Other thing I'd like to ask is why sometimes selecting region with Smart Tool on SV won't help if I try to delete notes, but if I do it with Select Tool it will work! Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'd like to update my post as I read some articles by C Anderton about Cakewalk and ReWire technology and I saw I didn't insert Sibelius First correctly at the first time. I guess I tried to insert it as an Instrument Track and also didn't check Suspend audio engine when Cakewalk is not in focus . So I tried again observing the articles' recommendations, and everything is back to normality! ?

Hi, I'd like to ask some help related to Sibelius First and CbB. I was trying to see how ReWire works and inserted SF in one track. I was tweaking a bit and on a moment I couldn't close CbB because of an error message related to the ReWire SF track. So I forced the shutdown and didn't try that again. However when I open Sibelius First there's an error message related to audio device but I couldn't fix it. Also when I try to playback a project it won't play anymore. Does someone has seen this before? Thanks in advance!

Hi, thanks for the 2020.07 EA! The Staff View fixes are great, it's nice to see it working! I still didn't try the Arranger as I've been using CbB for simpler tasks, but it seems to be great! By the way, @Noel Borthwick I'd like to say files info on bottom of Media Browser are visible again! I don't know what happened [on previous version] but thanks God it's working!

Hi, I'd like to comment about another issue on Staff View. It happens that Note draw duration buttons won't change if one clicks on a note on the Staff Pane with last touched note enabled. The expected result would be like in Piano Roll View, where note draw duration buttons will change if one clicks notes on Notes Pane, with last touched note enabled. Best regards,

Hi, I'd like to comment Ctrl + Right Click will also copy and paste notes if one tries to move them, but Shift + Right click will do the trick (just move). Also there is one issue about exporting sheet music to XML, that is Musescore won't read tied notes correctly. But there's a workaround that one could import XML file on Finale NotePad and export to XML again (but also FNP won't read tempo value when importing it). But maybe this issue could be a bug from these softwares! Best regards,

Hi @Noel Borthwick ! I'd like to update my post related to audio info missing on the bottom of Media Browser, as I finally rolled back to 2020.04 update. On this previous version audio info appears normally on Media Browser, but when I update to 2020.05 it disappears! Also I tried to find out what app could be using audio files, as you suggested, but on Windows 10 Task Manager I couldn't find any process related (basic level user here!). However one day before I noticed this issue I did some VHS digitalization with simple video capture interface and Honestech software, I don't know if it could be related. Thanks for your attention! @Noel Borthwick wow, at least it's not a bug! Here it happens on a few types, like MP3, Wave, also files from Audio folder on Cakewalk projects. Only MIDI files show description. In time, other features work fine, like audio preview. Thanks for the reply!

Hi, it seems media description is missing on Media Browser. With exception of MIDI files other media types won't show descriptions like file lenght, bit rate, sample rate, etc., at bottom of browser window. Best regards

Hi, I'd like to say I've had a similar problem to OP! It happens when I record midi notes with midi controller or Virtual Controller, then snap won't work on PRV. If i want to work with regular notes I'll have to quantize midi content. I thought this was a known issue but after reading this thread it seems it could be a bug! In relation to OP, by coincidence, I was using different time signatures on the same tune while transposing amateur songs to music staff, but my boss said some clients didn't like that, so I'm trying to make simpler scores!
