Except that this and this are only true for anyone who has an authorization code.

The Solo presets already worked within the ProChannel version of REmatrix. There was no need to download them in the rematrix file format except to use them in either the free REmatrix Player or the full / paid version of REmatrix. Just to be clear, the page that says this: is saying that the the REmatrix Player is a richer version, if compared to REmatrix Solo. So if the goal is to use the REMatrix+SOLO.rematrix in the REmatrix Player, it can't be done so far as I can tell without (1) the authorization code which evidently were given out free on request to SONAR users or (2) a newly purchased authorization code.

Thanks for the reply. It jogged my memory. About two ago I wrote to Overloud to ask about an upgrade for Sonar Customers. After I sent them the serial number, they sent me the discount code. I didn't think to ask them for unlock codes. ? I just looked on my previous audio PC and I have a file called Blackstar+Studio.rematrix (as well as the rir file for Solo). It gave me 21 Blackstar presets and 30 Blackstar (Multilayer) presets for the Player. Hybrid Free and Blackstar show up just fine; Solo says its unauthorized. But, I tested them in Voltage Modular. Maybe the Solo ones will work in CbB. NOPE: The Solo ones do not not work in REmatrix even within CbB. ?

I have been trying to figure where I might have the code. I have REmatrix Solo; it is installed in CbB (PC). I have a whole bunch of presets. I followed the instruction up until "(6) Enter the redeem code you received when purchased." Did part of the procedure involve buying them for use with the Player? I didn't get that impression from that page. Does anyone know?

Yeah--different people use different names (such as the "built-in arpeggiator"). I used "Inspector-based" so I would remember where I found it. I think its just call the Arpeggiator. If you are using basic audio loops, those have their own BPM. The Cakewalk/track/built-in/integrated arpeggiator uses the host/DAW tempo. That might be why they are out of sync. If you are using soft synths with their own arpeggiators, see if the soft synth has a sync-to-host-tempo parameter/switch. I haven't done that kind of thing in a while, but that's where I would look, if I understand what your issue is. There are also Groove Clips / Acidized Loops, but I haven't used them. There should be a number of tutorials. I just did a search and found this one, but there are others, too.

Not 100% sure, but I am wondering if "integrated arpeggiator of the midi channel" (and the "arpeggiator which is inside the midi channels of cakewalk") is referring to what I have been calling the "Inspector-based Arpeggiator." https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Recording.17.html https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Recording.18.html

Interesting. Tonex SE used to be $100 when the list was $150. Now Tonex is $100 with a list price of $150 at the IK site. Maybe its just temporary or maybe SE has been discontinued as you asked. I only have CS and don't use it, but I can't help but wonder if someone paid $100 for SE, will IK upgrade them to Tonex [Full]. Note: SE is not one of the 3 available versions. BUT if someone downloads the free CS version, the next step to experience more Tonex models would be to choose one of the 2 remaining versions listed. Maybe @Peter - IK Multimedia either knows or can clarify. My guess (100% speculation): With the new product/pricing changes announced recently, maybe they decided to abandon the SE series. Having gotten Syntronik, then Syntronik Deluxe, then Syntronik 2 CS, and then Syntronik 2 SE before getting Syntronik 2 and the equivalent of Syntronik 2 MAX, I feel that Syntronik 2 SE was a waste of money.

What happened to my "Insert Audio FX" Menu?
user905133 replied to Spectrum424's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Just to let you know, I checked about an hour and a half ago on both instrument tracks and audio tracks but I had the sideways V which opened the submenu. I didn't reply because I couldn't figure out how to not have the submenu, although I tried a few things very briefly. I did not check to see if the plug-in manager would cause an issue like that. UPDATE: I just tried switching layouts, creating an empty one, but I still get the submenu. Earlier I tried switching Workspaces, but still couldn't get your issue. -
I am familiar with some hardware samplers and some software versions of hardware samplers. All of the samplers I am familiar with use what are called "multisamples" where different samples are used across a larger range. I am not sure if there are samplers (or other plug-ins) that will alter the pitch without changing the frequency of the audio. Maybe someone else knows.

@telecode 101 Even signed in, that link is showing me $74.97 ( full price at 3 X $24.99). Fortunately, I had already seen the link @ralfrobert posted for $29.00.

Is there a link for the Cinematic Trio? I am curious to see what my price would be.

Having seen many of your posts, I did not think of you as a troll. I hope that's not how you read my post. In fact, it does happen that many people only read certain sections on a regular basis--the Coffee Shop, Deals, etc. (That's why I emphasized I wasn't finding fault with forum participants who didn't read the forum regularly. I should have said " . . . who read don't read all sections of the forum regularly . . . ." So, for anyone interested, here are some recent posts on the why-no-recent-updates issue.
-
I think part of the problem might be that not everyone reads the forum regularly. Not finding fault with this, its just that people who don't read the forum regularly don't know how many times this same question has been asked and addressed over the past several weeks. To me, what makes this new thread troublesome is that it is worded to be emotionally charged and can be taken as confrontive. A similar thing happens when someone writes, "All other modern DAWs have _____________________. Why doesn't Cakewalk?" The presumption is that something is wrong. I agree not everyone who does things like this is a troll, but it can come off as being "trollish."

Glad to hear ADSR Sample Manager helps. There are others--Google "Best Sampler Plugins" or "Best Free Sampler Plug-ins." I've seen people mention the TX16Wx software sampler. I tried it, but I don't really use sampler plug-ins very much. FYI: "X16Wx Software Sampler can load samples in WAV, AIFF, Ogg, and FLAC formats. The plugin can also load SoundFonts, SFZ, Akai, and EXS format presets." Also, there are several threads in the forum dedicated to free plug-ins, free sample libraries, etc. I couldn't find them, but I know others here have mentioned various samplers. Of course, if the ADSR Sample Manager meets your needs, you probably don't need to be a plug-in collector.

One option: use a sampler.

I heard him speak live (probably late '70s). He was an amazing, captivating speaker.

BR: *Console* MIDI Patch List Extends Off Screen
user905133 replied to sjoens's topic in Feedback Loop
I never looked at the patch list from the console before, and I haven't used patch lists much in recent years, but I took a look using TTS-1 and between the bottom of column one and the top of column two, I am missing one preset. Nothing missing from the bottom of column to to the top of column three. This was just a quick test, my windows display setting is at 100%, and the console patch list goes from the top of my screen to the bottom. Not sure if its off my screen, though. BUT WAIT!!! I just slid CbB to my second monitor which is smaller and has a different resolution size so things look bigger on that monitor. Column 1 goes to 36, column 2 starts at 54. Column 2 goes to 91, column 3 starts at 108. I don't have time (nor am I awake enough) to problem-solve this, but I hope something here helps. At least you know its not just you. UPDATE: I lied. I thought of a quick test. On Mon 2, I changed the display resolution to the recommended size (which makes it too tiny for my old fart eyes), but column 1 is now None --> 52, column 2 is now 54 --> 107, and column 3 is now 109 --> 127. UPDATE 2: Another quick test; changed display resolution to 800 x 600. Everything is too big and distorted, and not much fits on the screen, but BINGO!!!! The console patch list is as follows: Column 1: None --> 28; Column 2: 54 -> 83; Column 3: 108-> 127. -
From page 1: In case someone who has a licensed copy of z3ta+ 1.5 (the version that has a dll to use it as an FX processor) is trying to get it to work, there is a discussion of this several pages back along with links to some useful SOS articles.

Are you grabbing the tracks in the right spot and are you watching carefully for the cursor changes? It can be a little tricky at times.

Cakewalk by bandlab spp plugin open
user905133 replied to Pedro V12's topic in Instruments & Effects
There are also other programs that use the spp file name extension. The above discussions are not about about those. Most of the references I found relate to images, for exampe: -
@tulamide I totally get that you want to be a fierce advocate for the CLAP format. I think you made your point very clear: You feel very strongly that the Cakewalk developers should add support for CLAP.

I don't need the older SONAR products, but I keep some of them around, sometimes to check how features worked (to compare with CbB), sometimes to find older projects, etc. Anyone who didn't pay for them and never had them doesn't need them to use CbB. If someone has projects that were made using an older version of SONAR that they paid for, they should be able to open the older projects and use them in CbB, but if it were me, I'd make a copy of the older project file to open in CbB and then resave it to preserve the original just in case there is an issue. Did you pay for older versions of SONAR that included older plug-ins and can't get the older projects to work in CbB? If that's what you are trying to get at, you should start a new thread to ask for help. Are you asking if other people who paid for older versions of SONAR need for those older versions to be available for free?
