I migrated recently from free cakewalk to new sonar. I had been a Sonar user since version 1 of the product.
I have been successfully using the new Sonar with few issues seems mostly reliable but a few times it has crashed during application starting and it still can lock up and force a close when manipulating audio real-time while track is playing (this was always the case especially when moving or trimming stretched audio clips). However, mostly a successful transition to the new product! There is a new issue I'm seeing now though. During a session if my computer/daw loses internet connection. I immediately get a crash report (see attached) and the program closes, there is a radio button to "save a recovery" which may end up saving it from a complete loss but i haven't checked if successfully saves everything yet. this was never the case in the past with loss of internet. I'm wondering if it is a configuration/compatibility issue on my end. obviously you cannot always control or anticipate internet access. Not an every day issue but i did momentarily lose internet today and my app crashed.
