Mine tried to update automatically and then greyed-out the button for me to agree to terms and conditions. What a joke.

I find KVR to be absolutely useless these days. And many “administrators” are like condo board presidents- people who’ve had no opportunity to exert any power in their lives, and when they finally do, go berserk.

First time I’ve ever gotten a email from these guys. In the past always found out first from this Forum.? Unfortunately, I can’t log in. I suspect their site is slammed from all their customers getting actual notice of updates , for the first time?

Not sure the $25 voucher is based on “recent history”. While I’ve bought a fair amount of PA stuff in the past, my last purchase was well over a year ago. I’ve never been able to exactly figure out PA’s criteria for sending out vouchers.

Been waiting for this price. Bagged it with my $25 voucher.

Looks like a number of their plugins have been updated (or at least since I last looked:)). Run their download manager to get.

I believe this model may be true “single-sided”, which is required in some laptops. Others 4tbs have claimed to be true single -sided, but haven’t quite fit the bill. I guess we’ll see.

I use Chromaphone and Lounge Lizzard fairly often. While I might prefer a particular electric piano sound outside of Lounge Lizard, I appreciate its ease of use and variety of sounds.

Where do you guys find your serial for this after purchasing? It’s appearing on “My Library” list in Portal, but asking for a serial. Edit: Never mind. Just needed that second cup of coffee:)

Getting this through their cart took a long time- maybe their servers are slammed. While it’s now appearing on my list in the UVI Portal, the Portal itself has been spinning around in disarray for about 10 minutes now. YMMV

The only thing I regret Arturia doing is buying the rights from Martinic for his freebie Vox Continental and Farfisa organs—two of the great freebies of all time (especially the Vox).

Toontrack can pretty much do as they want. They are the big whale in the drum plug-in market, and don’t really have a major competitor. It’s a shame that over the years those running BFD have fumbled the ball so many times. Not speaking here one way or the other about the Player, but in my view a lot of the old BFD2 and 3 libraries sounded a little more real and a little less slick than the Toontrack ones.

Thx for that feedback on Custom & Vintage. I always felt that the sound on the EZX version as well could have been better. I think it was one of the earlier libraries, and Toontrack has upped their game noticeably on more recent ones.

Independent is a great library. If I didn’t already have it, that would be a no-brainer for me. As it is , I’m struggling a bit over whether Custom & Vintage is worth it for me, especially since I’ve got the EZX version. Leaning to the negative side right now.
