Nice uplifting feel to this - you were lucky to have your mom with you for so long.  I lost my parents when I was in my mid 20s - born late.  The older I get, the more I realize what a loss it was not getting to spend more time with them as an adult.

That's tough.  Sorry to hear that.  I guess, though, no matter how long they are around, it still feels like too soon when they are gone.

Indeed.  The best we can do is honor those who went before us.  Thanks for listening and the feedback!

    Nicely done.

Been working on something for my beautiful Ms. W. who left us in January, nothing quite seems to work yet.

My condolences for your loss.  It can be hard to find something that has the right tone.  I had three or four false starts before I landed on the final one that I felt captured what I was looking for.

    Jeff,
That's a beautiful and emotional tribute to your mother. I did the same for my mom a while ago and I get all blubbery when I listen to it now and then.  You might experience the same.

I know what you mean.   I have a similar one that I did for my dad about six years ago when he passed and I still get a teary when I watch it now and then.

  5. Yes!  I love the combination of the arpeggio synth, the vocals, background ear candy, crackling noise, and movie dialog.  On point, and so good!

  6. The intro really caught my attention.  I especially liked the dissonance of the opening synths.  The whole song was excellent and sounded professionally produced.  Really well done!

  7. My mother passed away earlier this year. She was 95, and lived a hell of life.  She traveled all over the world, visiting every continent, had 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

This song is for her.  I tried to do my best to honor her.
