  1. Your best bet is probably to download the individual stems from Bandlab and import them into a new Cakewalk project.
  2. Ok, thanks for the reply. I'll have a look at the other compressors I have and see if any of them are able to do this.
  3. Probably going to make myself sound like an idiot here, but here goes. The technique I'm referring to is on this video linked below. Essentially, there's a bus added for each of the reverb and the delay, with a compressor added after each in the chain. The compressor then compresses based purely on the signal from the vocal track. I've probably not explained it very well, which is probably down to me not understanding it very well.... I've tried what I thought was correct, using the Sonitus Compressor on the bus tracks, then as well as adding the bus tracks as sends, added a further send to the compressor on those bus tracks. But that's clearly not correct as the result is even messier than before I added the sends. So, if anyone can help me with this, I'd be grateful as I have a track I'm working on that this technique would be perfect for if it works as suggested here!
  4. I can really hear the Billie Eilish influence in both the writing and the performance of this, and that's very much a compliment. Lovely song, great arrangement. Good mix to my ears too.
  5. I love this.... the atmospheric synths to open it up, and then it goes into that classic rock sound I expect from you. Great playing and vocal performances as well. Great work!
  6. I love this. Has a very easy going feel to it and your voice is great.
  7. This is actually a song I wrote around 10 years ago, for a songwriting challenge where the task was to write a song called "Blood On The Frets". Originally recorded at that time as a simple acoustic guitar/vocal song, I've just finished re-recording it with a more fleshed out arrangement, as it was always one I wanted to revisit now I have a bit more know how with recording and mixing.
  8. Like it. Once it kicks in following the intro, the riff reminds me of early Def Leppard. And that's a good thing.
  9. Nice work. Great guitar sound and nice riff, the guitar part in the verse reminds me of "Gimme All Your Lovin'" by ZZ Top. I like how much the snare cuts through it as well without overpowering everything.
  10. My first new song in quite a while. All about my favourite character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you haven't seen the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, none of the references in the lyrics will make any sense to you at all, But, the song may get stuck in your head as badly as it got stuck in mine whilst I was mixing it, so please give it a listen! 11. For people to help, they'll need to know your setup - computer, interface, which drivers etc.
