  1. Thanks for your answer. It does not appear in Preferences - MIDI - Devices. I would like to use a speaker connected with minijack as an audio source. So, with just a USB cable it's not possible for Cakewalk to detect it as input right? You need an audio cable like XLR right? If so, I was reading on the Roland website (https://support.roland.com/hc/en-us/articles/19967079596699-FP-30-How-do-I-connect-the-FP-30-with-a-cable-to-an-instrument-or-sound-module-that-has-only-5-pin-MIDI-DIN-connectors) that a MIDI host box is needed? Sorry but I am ignorant in this area and am trying to figure it out. Anyway, I don't have an audio interface other than the one built into the pc which is supposed to be NVIDIA.
  2. Hello everyone. I am completely new to all this so please be kind. I would just like to record songs that I play on the piano and edit them slightly. I have previously recorded songs via bandlab using the same cable. On bandlab, the pc detects the piano without any problems. The pc also detects the piano however Cakewalk does not detect it as input. What am I doing wrong? What should I do? Thanks
