THU and TH3 *presets* are backwards compatible, but not the plugins, so if you've inserted THU into a project and try to open it on a system with TH3 installed, it won't fly.

Or just leave in Offset mode and look at the envelopes - much simpler.

That may be in the help documentation - I can't remember (you edit the Sonar shortcut on desktop/start menu to add the switches).

I want to point out that this is one of the worst songs ever recorded and released IMHO.  It has no redeeming features beyond it being a double-pointer for me now.

Yes - not at my DAW, but there's an advanced tab on the preferences menu where you can save and load profiles, and then you can set a command line switch to pick one of them at Sonar launchtime.

I think you have disabled Read Automation by clicking the R.

The old Cyclone that came with SONAR would also work (I forget which version).  Pretty simple 16 pad sampler - no frills but it works.
