  1. I thought this might be as good 'a place as any to ask. Through this Covid mess, our church was fortunate (to my surprise) to have a low power radio transmitter - c.a. 2 mile coverage. We set up a stage in front of our church, I mixed live through my Behringer X-Air to radio. Folk pulled in, tuned in, and list-in'd (and watched from a distance). Really worked a treat! Now that we are back inside, I seem to have been placed in charge of improving what we do with it. Currently, someone has donated an MP3 player that's full of a wide range of styles and volume levels. My initial goal was just to cull through those MP3s and level match and make some sense of it so that we are not playing the odd Christmas song during the heat of harvest. Point of the Post Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of a cheap/free software program that can be set and left for the most part to run on it's own? I found this site but really am not familiar with the terminology enough to know what to zero in on. I am old enough to know and have seen in action a Cart but that's about it. I would like: the ability to structure playlists possibly by style/folder to play during specified times of day the ability to schedule pre-recorded call signs for our KCCA moniker. the ability to switch to a live feed on Sunday morning to broadcast the service. the ability to do live interviews/segments throughout the week as needed. I found this site but really don't know what to look for other then downloading and playing with it. Any suggestions/reccomendations? https://www.cloudrad.io/radio-broadcasting-software/
  2. Please correct me if I'm wrong but this is only true if your WUP is current/active right? I'll download here at work and try it when I get home.

  4. I mistated and corrected my other post - I deleted one update which brought it down to $260. You can read about WUP HERE. But basically (from that page): "The Waves Update Plan is the complete care plan for your Waves products. Every new purchase or upgrade of any Waves product includes one year of free Waves Update Plan coverage for that product. Once the plan expires, renew it for another year whenever you want. If you don’t wish to renew, the plugins you own will remain yours as before, but you will not enjoy plugin updates, 2nd licenses, or the other benefits of the plan. The cost for one year of Waves Update Plan coverage depends on the number of products you own and their prices. Updating coverage per year ranges between $12 and $240 if you own one copy of each product." In my case, "Your Waves Update Plan exceeds the $240 cap due to either selecting multiple identical licenses, or the coverage you’re about to purchase is for more than 1 year for some of the selected licenses." I have three plugins that WUP doesn't expire until 2021. The latest expires November 2021. Upgrading everything including these would have extended every plugin I have out until November 2022 (1 year past the last expiration). That would cost me $480.
  5. Yes, and logged in to Waves, it will show you the available choices you don't have. I only have one choice - NX . Epic is included in Mercury but I ain't WUPing for $260! Bummed they didn't offer a BF WUP discount. Maybe Christmas/New Year.
  6. In my restraint to refrain from purchasing another synth I won't use, I came across this SOS review from 2009 with a nod towards Cakewalk Rapture of all things Alternatives Anyone considering the purchase of a virtual analogue synth is spoiled for choice these days, as there are so many options available. One of my favourites is Arturia's Minimoog V2, which offers a lot of the depth and character that Largo does, albeit with a simpler modulation architecture. Korg's Legacy Collection Analogue Edition is another of my favourites for sound quality, but Cakewalk's Rapture is probably the closest direct competitor to Largo, as it provides wavetable functionality, advanced envelopes and modulation routings, and a similar degree of sonic variety in its sounds. 7. And Vocal Flow is still $39 or $32.76 in cart with code GROUP at JRRshop.
  8. From email: Have you purchased one or more Pettinhouse products in the past? Write me an email at info@pettinhouse.com and send me a purchase confirmation, if you can’t find it, well I will find you! You will be entitled to crossgrade. 12 sample libraries for $ 49 https://www.pettinhouse.com/index.html
  9. Wow, haven't been to the Slate website for awhile. It's much better than it used to be. Thanks CCL'!
  10. Same ol', same ol' from Magix. Same prices you pay through most of the year but hey - it's a SALE!. Notice there is no Upgrade button for Vegas.
  11. . ALL link is http://www.jrrshop.com/black-rooster-audio-all-bundle
  12. May as well pick up the free Belle Factor while you're there. Both plugs can be found HERE. Seems he carried over the Waves $29 deal. Many of his singles are currently there.

    AAS Chromaphone 3

@Reid Rosefelt Thanks, I think I will. They are an excellent company and they have swapped out dupes for me in the past - I've tried not to abuse it!! I thought they had offered the 50% deal on the collection previously. I currently have EP-4, GS-2, & VA2. My only upgrade offer is to upgrade to VA3 for $79 or what I'd really like, to complete my collection adding VA3, Chromaphone 3, Objeq Delay, VS-3, & VA-3) for $249. So, I'm hoping for it at 50% off or $124.50 over the holidays. I couldn't afford it the last time it came up (okay, I can't afford it now but I'd do it, haha)!

    AAS Chromaphone 3

@antler You should be okay. I never download the NKS with my install file. In your AAS account there is a box at the top of your product page to indicate if you want to include it or not. Mine remains unticked. I was kind of hoping for one of their "complete your collection" specials but haven't seen any indication of it so I may go ahead and pick this one up.
  15. Yes, this drives me crazy as I don't have internet at home except via phone which doesn't work well for downloads. Twice now I've logged in from work and downloaded Portal directly from their site expecting the latest version only to get home after work loading the new version and Portal then tells me there's an update!! Grrrr
  16. Remember, Music Production Suite 4 upgrade from MPS 3 is still cheapest at JRRshop @ $167.16 in the cart with code GROUP applied. Not sure on the others listed @ PB. I've got many PB buys under my belt but - it's so nice to have choices and yes, I've succombed!!
  17. Anyone with a $50 or $75 voucher? I'd trade my $25 one
  18. I agree with the sentiments. Not for $149, maybe for $99, but a no-brainer YES for <$80!!
  19. IOW, that would be considered a "re-sale" and not allowed yes? PER Section 4.3 of the EULA "....you may not sell, or otherwise transfer the Product." Thanks.
  20. So @Peter - IK Multimedia, if some good person on this forum wanted to swap SampleTank 4 MAX for my Amplitude 4 MAX: 1. Would that be allowed by IK? 2. Does the nature of the purchase stay with the product. i.e. since I acquired Amplitude 4 MAX with a hardware purchase, the new owner would have the same limited upgrade-ability as I do now e.g. no Cross/MAX-grade discount. Correct?
  21. I emailed Uncle E at JRRshop and he said that sale was ending the 11th. @Fret Flintstone I wondered about Ozone 10 Adv but didn't want to miss out upgrading to RX8. and my Groove 3 sub just expired. @ZincT I'll email iZotope and see what they say. Thanks!!
  22. Yep, that is still the case - excellent!! For me, that's a year of Groove 3, upgrade to RX 8, Nectar 3 Plus (fwiw), and Neoverb or $41.79/ea. Thanks!
  23. Thanks gentlemen! @fitzroy yeah, I'm not in a hurry but didn't want to wait if it was going higher. Come to think of it though, iZotope is one of those companys that have the perpetual "last day" sale. @Yan Filiatrault thanks for that. I thought I had seen it cheaper but a search here didn't bring up. I'll check it out.
  24. My Loyalty Offer is $199 but when I went to close the browser tab, it gave me a 5% ($9.95) off offer to buy it now which brought it down to $189.05 Any chance there will be better price around the holidays? EDIT to summarize: as stated below by Yan Filiatrault, JRRshop has this for $167.16 in the cart with code GROUP until Nov 11 but check with iZotope - they may offer further discount also as mentioned below by ZincT.
