From the dump it seems that Kernel32.dll is the culprit.

There was a Windows update yesterday and Kernel32.DLL was modified at 9.31 yesterday. I did a System restore to before that point, but to no avail.  Next step is probably to uninstall Sonar and hope for the best...

tbf, they're busy updating the gui right now, so could be related - did you try disabling the new "gui acceleration" option in prefs?

if you have a crash, the buffered data is lost, but hey ho thems the breaks

i understand the sub strategy, but at the end of a sub i'd expect to be able to keep using the last version in that sub, a la studio one/mixcraft (free cbb won't last forever and doesn't support the newest sonar-only features)
