The serial from beat unlocked both the v5 and v6 versions of this for me.

I'm guessing because H-Comp is "finished". If the release notes page is to be believed, then they last made a functionality change to H-Comp in 2016. "October 10th, 2016: H-Comp: Clicking with the mouse on control scale marks now works well." Though that simply may have been a bugfix. Of which there were two more, plus a fairly recent HiDPI GUI refresh.

The upgrades on the "Buy Now" page all say "not available for your account" (which has a license for Essentials)

As someone who doesn't always have access to unlimited data, smaller installers are always appreciated (and IK is one of/the worst offender(s) in this industry in that regard). If they ever fix the T-RackS installation package & process.. that'll be a happy day for many.

Activate with iLok manager online once (to the machine), will work offline after that I believe.

I like this one. Reasonably gentle "just make it sound a bit better" multiband compressor unless you absolutely slam it. Emphasis control is nice. Quality freebie - IMO!

Honestly pretty annoyed with IK and how Tr6 hasn't fully replaced Tr5 three months after release. I've been wanting to buy a new audio interface and an IK one with Tr6 "SE" (if such an edition existed) would've been my first choice. But alas, Native Instruments it'll be for BF.

They replaced the old download with a different one. The new one is 300kb smaller, but the content looks to be the same. You can install both, one will show up as FIRST, the other one as FIRST Free.

Overloud support gave me a code that correctly unlocked the FIRST library.

Per the instructions, I dragged the .rematrix file into the plugin (which itself is authorised) and clicked cancel when prompted for a serial. Now the FIRST presets are complaining about not being licensed. Any idea?

Can't compare to Melodyne, but it's the best audio-to-notes software I've used so far. Strongly recommend dropping audio files on the plugin GUI instead of realtime recording into the plugin.

Very generous wrt included samples. As far as 100% free pure drum machines are concerned, Sitala 1.x may be a better choice.

My favourite VoS plugin so far. I don't think I have anything comparable in my arsenal.

I'm okay with the pricing. What upsets me (and I really, really mean it) is how IK keeps piling more convoluted rules on top of already convoluted rules and how every year there's more rules to be aware of. There's a group of people who have seemingly disappeared into the extended IK universe where everything revolves around gamified discount rules. I just want to buy stuff. I don't care for discount lore. I don't care for discount rule books the size of early D&D editions. Make it simpler - please! I don't want trawl through receipts from 2018. I don't want to whip up a calculator. I don't want to count processors - at all, ever - just show me the number in my account profile or at checkout?
