C:\Audio\VST64\64Main\Cakewalk is my default Cakewalk plugin folder for 64bit VSTs I placed the 64bit VST, "FET Compressor.dll", in C:\Audio\VST64\64Main\Cakewalk\FET Compressor (see previous sentence) and now I have the Softube FET Compressor in Pro Channel! Thanks @scook for the tip! Note: that the ProChannel version only has access to the shown controls (i.e. the 5 knobs).

That's a great price for a great plugin. I already have several nice versions (PSP, Arturia, Waves) - just debating if I need yet another. Here's some good info, if you're curious, on various 1176 VSTs models. Top 11 Best FET Compressor Emulation Plugins For Your DAW For example if you're checking to see which ones have a lookahead feature (answer: Softube & Arturia) or if you're can't remember/are trying to figure out how many FET clones you already own..,

Oh wow - a $50 vinyl simulator that I can add to my collection of mostly freebies. (e.g. Vinyl Plugin—Free Lofi Plug-in | iZotope) Be still my heart lest you burst from my chest. Just the thought that I might be able to relive my teenage dreams of longing for something better than my old long since junked General Electric Trimline Stereo 500 Vinyl Record Player give me the shivers and perhaps a cold sweat... Speaking of nostalgia - for $48.95 I can help you recreate that old west Bar-B-Que flavor that was so highly prized by the old west. Introducing Buffalo Chips(tm) - made in America. Just toss the authentically organic sun died buffalo pie on the coals (or gas burner) of your Bar-B-Que to enjoy that unique smokey flavor of prairie trail gourmet chuck wagon cuisine. Also introducing Donkey Chips(tm) - now even a novice can make everything taste like @ss.

LOL - can't see if you don't take the time to look... https://www.tracktion.com/products/biotek BioTek is a beast. Multiple facets for creating a large variety of tones. Looks like a tweaker dream - you could probably get lost for years just with all the sonic possibilities. BUT having said that I am actually just a bit underwhelmed by default sample library - lots of stuff there but not really that impressed with a lot of it. Maybe I was just demoing the wrong patches or maybe just jaded. If I was just starting to build my synth library I'd jump at this - it's a great price for something with a lot of possibilities. But personally, at the moment, I've already got enough beasts in my zoo that don't get enough attention.
-
Are the "vocal" snippits that appear here & there - part of the library? The way they list the patches playing makes it a bit hard at times to tell which patch is being referred to.

Same VSTs on different computers show as MISSSING
TheSteven replied to David Coventry's topic in Instruments & Effects
Moved to a new computer and I have this happens on every project I open. Some of the errors I can fix by re-adding the VST2 version (where the plugin was replaced by VST3) back in the VST scan path, or by digging up and installing the 32bit version. -
EastWest Installation Center problems with Opus
TheSteven replied to Amicus717's topic in Instruments & Effects
WTF... I guess I missed that fine print. TBH I've barely used Opus since I got it due to a combination of personal & computer issues (my audio computer died and had to be replaced) but as Cakewalk is my main DAW that is disappointing news. I probably would not have upgraded had I realized that. -
I'm not upgrading till they add it. Once you let them get away with leavin stuff out you're just invitin' trouble.

Cause Melda formally announced it today? Introducing V16 of all MeldaPlugins | MeldaProduction Maybe you're thinking of the RC which has been out for a while... When I last checked** a couple of weeks ago the final version wasn't out yet. **think it was a couple of weeks... ? time friggen flies... BTW here's the download location link: https://www.meldaproduction.com/downloads As @Paul Young mentioned - it should have been included in the OP.

When I was playing Quake II my boys were little (4 &5) and they had previously not been allowed to see (anyone) play these kind of games. They loved to watch me play and would cheer me on. The boss fights were too scary though, they would hide under my desk until I was victorious and it was safe to come out.

New Harrison Mixbus versions and discount upgrades Mixbus32C just got a lot better! We've published a new version for Mixbus32C users: version 8.1 If you've been waiting to upgrade to version 8, then now is the time to act! In addition to hundreds of fixes and improvements (you'll find a partial list at the end of this email), v8.1 introduces a killer new feature: Mixer Scenes. Mixer scenes allow you to quickly store and recall your knob settings. You can compare 8 different mixes with a button-click. And you can audition a scene using 'momentary mode' before you actually overwrite your current settings. This takes plugin A/B'ing to a new level: you can A/B the setting for dozens of plugins, and your faders/mutes/sends/eqs/compressors ... all with one click!

An oldie but a goody.

Save money on the absolutely immediately undeniably incredible essential impressively immersive** plugin for the DAW that (most of you) probably aren't using! **all words/phrasing from the announcement webpage and video. It's the PSP auralControl AAX plugin for ProTools only! Looks like it's not a channel strip - it's a multichannel strip!!! ooow, ahhh! Maybe it will turn out to be the coolest thing since Kool-Aid but I'll have to wait for the VST version to experience the wonder for myself.

KV331 Update to Everything E-mail Offer (Possible Deal)
TheSteven replied to User 905133's topic in Deals
I don't understand the pricing on this deal... The email says code gives me a $31 discount for $118 yet on web page: Upgrade from SynthMaster 2: $109.00 If I click on email link price is $117.99 in cart, if I delete coupon the price drops to $109 (probably because I previously had the SM2 Upgrade in cart). So lower price it is... -
Is this the end of Larry? I don't know... But seriously... Larry wherever you are - I hope that you're happy, healthy and living large! No further comments or posts from me on this subject..
