Voxengo is happy to release the version 2.10 of its Stereo Touch plugin - a free stereo widener plugin for professional music and sound production applications. This plugin is available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST and VST3 plugin formats (including native 64-bit support), for macOS (v10.7 and later), and Windows computers. https://www.voxengo.com/product/stereotouch/?eref=ml This update features the following changes: Added Retina support on macOS, and automatic high-resolution UI size adjustment on Windows. 15% lower CPU usage on AVX2-capable processors (in 64-bit mode). This professional audio plugin implements a classic technique of transforming a monophonic track into spacious stereophonic track by means of mid/side coding technique. Stereo Touch is most effective on monophonic sounds without overly sharp transients: it works great for both acoustic and electric/overdriven guitars, synthetic pad sounds and even vocals. By means of this plugin you can easily get spacious and even “surround” sounding tracks, without utilizing a double-tracked recording technique. Voxengo Stereo Touch and other audio plugins can be downloaded at the Voxengo web site: https://www.voxengo.com/product/stereotouch/?eref=ml

Got a 2nd email but mine aren't free (probably because I got them on sale?) but are available for $28.
-
In going through my email found this from May 23, sale is still on.... Upgrade to Adagio Violas - A Part of the Anthology Collection for just $28! (instead of $98) Thank you for investing in the original Adagio Violas. This newly reworked volume brings you the latest improvements in programming and workflow previously found only in our Century & Anthology Series. The update includes the familiar and easy to use Anthology interface, remastered articulations, a powerful articulation matrix, integrated mixing capabilities, and for advanced real-time processing, our Chaos Effects. We highly recommend keeping your legacy version of Adagio Violas since projects using them may not work. This update is designed to live side by side with the original Adagio library. If you have any further questions please get in touch with our support staff via our live chat on 8Dio.com or email us at support@8dio.com Upgrade Now USE CODE: XXXXXXXX ~~~~~~~~~ So .. they're probably having a similar sale on Adagio Cellos & Adagio Violins both of which were recently updated. Question in my mind is does the new update really add a significant amount of value to these? The items I own I bought on sale for $28 or $29 so while I'm glad they updated the library to their current billion lines of code interface I'm not sure that justifies rebuying the libraries. Doesn't give me the warm fuzzies about dealing with 8dio either but then maybe I'm just in an irritated mood.

How long have you been playing the guitar?
TheSteven replied to TheSteven's topic in The Coffee House
I bought my first guitar at 17 from my 'best' friend and paid $25. I found out later that he had found it in a trash can while walking with another friend. He didn't like the original look and tried to refinish it. At some point he must have realized that his refinishing skills were on par with his guitar playing skills and then sold it to me. It was a horrible instrument - crooked neck & the bridge was a piece of slotted wood; but it was mine. That junky guitar started my on a journey that continues to this day... -
It's a great price. I paid $69 last BF - that was a good price.

Lol, haven't hear that song in ages. Pre MTV - back when guitars were mighty and album art cool... -

After getting use to it I like it. I like Neon - it makes it easy to see what the status is on the controls. I like when knobs have the additional band around them that show the amount of change like this: For controls that have either left/right or -/+ values it instantly let's me see whats going on. But some skins implement it differently and with those I think it just confuses things. For example the Minimalist skin: I consider the above misinformation or even a bug.

In case you didn't see thread in other forum area...
-
Arghhhh. I've been waiting for that and totally forgot it's coming soon.
-
So you're wondering what's the deal? or how to deal with it? Personal I'd rather postpone and not deal with triple digit heat ALAP.
-
Try dating other women. I use to work with a Mercedes. She was cute, smart and unlike the car - high maintenance.
-
Not that it really matters that much but still no VST3 version.
-
@John Maar now that you have it what's your opinion on it?
-
