Compared to last years bundle - anything new?
-
Best strategy is to wait for it be on sale for $29. It'll happen sooner or later. In meantime most of us probably have enough saturators to fill a Christmas stocking.

I've been having ASIO problems since installing the 2019.11 update. I later installed the HotFix and but still having same issues. Before installing I had my latency set somewhere over 20msec and rarely had dropout issues. Now Cakewalk is almost unusable - even with Buffer Size/Latency maxed (as shown below) I can play some projects and not others. Case in point - I've got one project that has one audio track (electric guitar) that has IK Multimedia's Amplitube 4 loaded using the "Live Magic 1986" patch from the Brian May Collection and it won't play for over a second without stopping due to 'Audio Engine Dropout'. This wasn't an issue before the 2019.11 update, I could use any patch in the BM Collection with no dropouts. Also... I installed 3 Waves v11 plugins this weekend - 1 new, 2 upgrades; I have Mercury so I have a ton of v10's but will not be ugrading them for a while. The first time I rescanned my plugins it took a lot longer that usually, with the scanner pausing 1 -3 seconds on every Wave plugin (v10 & v11). After 20 minutes I gave up waiting and left to watch Netflix. Rescans are speedy as previous.

There are many excellent libraries available for less than $10
-
Also unless the plugin name or link is obvious please include enough info so people know if it's worth looking further. Posts like: 28% off www.mysteryplugincompany.com\unknownVST are a worthless, let Larry or some else post it if you don't have time to do it right.

Thank you for the info! Looks like you can't demo the amp clones but I'll check out the ACT Combo later today.
-
Trying to check that out, but not seeing it... Or is it not available in demo mode?
-
Is this sale still on?
-
Lol, and I did a search before creating the post! Not sure why it didn't find these.

This has been mentioned on specific plugins in other threads but sale covers all DDMF plugs. https://ddmf.eu/product/ Metapluging $49.00 $29.40 a modular AU/VST/VST3 audio plugin host MagicDeathEye compressor $99.00 $59.40 (Zo loves this puppy) Virtual Audio Recorder $15.00 $9.00 Plugindoctor $25.00 $15.00 Envelope $39.00 $23.40 a Stereo reverb NoLimits $39.00 $23.40 a look a-head limiter... and many others...

and it's so friggin portable. Fits easily into my laptop bag.

So any Cakewalk project that had embedded v10 plugins automatically started using v11s and all the setting were retained? Issue is not with installing but usage. When I upgraded to v10 I had to manually swap out the v9 versions and try to recreate whatever setting I had previously, many hours of wasted time.

Great deal - love this drive. It's small on size (contains a 2.5 inner drive), big on capacity, and runs off USB power.

I ended up getting Omega TWK https://www.thehouseofkush.com/products/omega-twk I like was it does to a drum track, just a little bit does a lot. but I also got Ravage https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/30-Distortion/4923-Ravage for $10 it's a no brainer sweet deal. Lots of flavors and modulation options.

AAS updates Lounge Lizard EP-4 to v4.3.0 https://www.applied-acoustics.com/lounge-lizard-ep-4/ AAS has updated Lounge Lizard EP-4 to version 4.3.0, and they believe it's their best sounding release to date. What's new: New Library - The completely renewed factory library features classic electric piano sounds as well as over 240 gig- and mix-ready custom electric pianos making good use of the compressor, equalizer, and multi-effect processor. New Compressor and equalizer - These new additions are designed to add punch and definition to your sound, letting you cut through any dense mix or stage. New Character control - The new Character control provides five classic studio and stage signal path emulations—that's the cabinet, pre-amp, microphone, and recorder chain that follows the piano's output—to help fit your electric piano part into your track. New Streamlined interface - Redesigned from the ground up, the new interface now divides Lounge Lizard EP-4 into three panels: Play presents shortcuts to the main piano and effect parameters including bypass switches for quick edits; Edit lets you get under the hood and voice the piano to taste; while FX supplies equalizer, compressor, multi-effect, and reverb processors for final shaping duties. New Limiter - The new output limiter protects your ears and monitors during experimentation with the piano's physical modeling parameters while providing a maximum of distortion-free dynamics. New Bank and program manager - Lounge Lizard EP-4's new manager allows simple and efficient organization, backup, and sharing of your sounds. Overhauled effects - Reinvigorated, polished, and tuned especially for the electric piano, Lounge Lizard EP-4's multi-effect processor features our best sounding chorus, delay, phaser, flanger, distortion, notch filter, wah-wah, auto-wah, and reverb to date. New Microtonal tunings via Scala scale files - Lounge Lizard EP-4 now supports the Scala scale file format for microtonal music making. The update is free for Lounge Lizard EP-4 owners.

Been there, done that, still doing that... ? I committed to the upgrade bundle. But this wasn't on my shopping list. ? I may have to cross off another item.

I got an email from Waves: From: Waves Audio <news@mail.waves-audio.com> Sent: Friday, November 29, 2019 1:10 PM To: XXXXXXXXXXXXX Subject: Here’s Your Free Waves Berzerk Plugin

If you run either of the upgrade route the total come to $58 So either $19 for LM2 + $39 LM2n to Stereo Loudness Bundle = $58 or $49 for LC2 + $9 for STEREO LOUNDESS BUNDLE upgrade = $58
-
Does LC2 contain LM2 or are they 2 separate products?
