It has to be re-authorised every 6 months, so that should give them a pretty good idea of how many downloaders are actually using it. I doubt that it's anywhere near 15 million.
Other than my initial outrage at having to pay extra to make the software that I had just paid quite a lot for actually work, it's never been a problem for me.

Its not even close to being the main problem with buying Steinberg IMO.
Trying to find a positive for you........you now have 2/3 of the ingredients to write a country song and it sounds as if making some noise might be a good idea. You can just pretend that your truck broke down/got stolen.?
I've never bothered with LABS because the first one was pretty underwhelming IIRC.
Is it something I should have or would it just be adding to the pile of stuff that is fun to play with for 30 minutes, but never actually gets used?
