You can click the "Try" there and it will get you set up with the Intro version and the ability to try any of the other modules. Thanks!
-
That's not a bad idea. Even as a promotion. That is exactly what I saw before I installed T-RackS 6 MAX too and that should be present for those who want to try T-RackS 6 using the Intro version (which is now the free version). Group buy modules do count. We have made improvements to the coupon implementation so you might want to try again but also let me and/or the team know if it still doesn't work. T-RackS 6 is not available for purchase with Gear Credits. It seemed so, but there definitely were some odd issues as it apparently is (well I'm admitting it is TO ME in case my colleagues are reading this ) confusing internally with regard to some of the older bundles and lesser-known types of products that contained T-RackS processors. I also accept some of the blame since I'm usually quite thorough and I know I would also have missed some of these cases where the coupon was not applied properly. However, the team fielded the reports and any data folks like me could funnel to them (including theories which I can neither deny nor confirm were correct since I threw out a few of them) and the coupons should be showing correctly now. I also absolutely acknowledge your point about a straightforward price reduction, even in cart, being more elegant and I will continue to try to highlight that as a more elegant solution when there are opportunities like this. Auto-application of the coupon, though, caused issues in the past where some folks had more JamPoints than the coupon and wanted to use those just to let you know why the coupon doesn't currently automatically apply. Oh and the 50+ was meant to cover people who essentially have T-RackS 5 MAX v2 without having purchased that specific product. This would typically be via group buys and similar. If you want to shoot me your IK username I can double check. Not that I'm doubting your math, but might be worth a shot.

We have a FAQ about this, note that the lowest entry point is the price of a single plugin - T-RackS 6 is $/€99.99 (and you can use JamPoints to take an up to additional 30% off). Those who have T-RackS 5 MAX v2 or 50+ single T-RackS processors can get T-RackS 6 MAX for $/€99.99. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1517
-
If you have 50+ T-RackS single processors you'd qualify for the $/€100 off. IK Support can look at your account and see what is happening but the 100 off coupon should show in your cart to be applied if the system knows you qualify. Might be something odd happening so it is worth checking into since by your description you should qualify. Thank you.

TONEX updated to 1.7.5, AmpliTube updated to 5.8.2, IK Product Manager updated
IK Multimedia replied to BTP's topic in Deals
Well I'd have already mentioned it but manufacturers are persona non grata as far as starting threads so I can only hope someone else posts or you get the newsletter -
It only took T-RackS 5 MAX nearly 7 years to reach that price point, sure.
-
No you only need any paid T-RackS 6 version, not MAX. If you purchase T-RackS 6 your plugins will work in that. T-RackS 6 Intro (free) does not port them, however. 99.99 with the coupon that populates in the promo code box in your cart. If you don't see that let me know.

APD Deal: TONEX Metal Gems Collection by IK Multimedia - FREE DOWNLOAD
IK Multimedia replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Support would be better to answer that use case because it is meant to back and they're not going to answer me today but there would still be copying from one machine to the other and not sure it isn't any easier than copying and moving the library anyway. Anything you have from ToneNET can be restored on any machine any time. Sorry that the third party Tone Models sold outside of the ecosystem are more difficult to manage. -

Funny to ask a loaded question then try to force someone not to answer. Report what you feel is broken to the team and they'll assist you. If you have already reported an issue the team would be happy to provide a status to you at any time if you reply to your ticket asking them. What you list sounds like things they could look into to fix for you as some don't appear to be global so I have confidence the team can provide you the right information if you reach out for a status. Thank you. Edit - sorry maybe you meant don't answer because I've been posting and answering on weekends? That's quite kind of you but I am here on my own time because I saw something I could help with. Thank you again if that was your intent. -

There is also a backup and restore function for that database in TONEX itself. -

But giving some extra JamPoints away isn't a bad idea generally... ignore the smell of wood burning. -

Very legit, they've been in business since the 1970s. I miss living close to NYC but many of the photo/video and music stores have closed anyway. 47th Street Photo was similar but went out of business in the 90s, B&H and Adorama, etc were smart and branched out quite successfuly. I think 42nd Street Photo is still in business. B&H is probably the only photo/video-focused store I'd buy music gear from, if any of the others even sell music gear. I miss the great NYC music stores like Manny's a lot too. It was always fun to haggle in these stores as well. I hadn't been back to NYC in a while but decided to take my wife there a few years back since she had only been there once in her life. She wanted something in one of the electronics stores and said "that's a good price" and almost went to buy it for that but it was nice to find out that you can still haggle after I told her you don't buy anything in a NYC electronics shop for the tagged price Sorry, this thread sent me down memory lane a bit.

Sorry I was away for a bit but I have the master sheet for the upgrade eligibility (since I created it under the parameters given for the upgrade policy) and honestly have no idea where they got that wording as it is quite different than what we have. Basically for the TONEX Upgrade (we don't have a crossgrade) TONEX SE is the qualifier. It needs to be something in the family of products to be eligible basically. Here are the lists for TONEX (standard) and TONEX MAX: TONEX MAX Upgrade TONEX SE TONEX: TONEX Upgrade TONEX Upgrade TONEX SE That said, I've alerted the sales reps who handle the various and sundry dealers to make sure they've clearly explained the eligibility to their dealers. But also, I may have to request that perhaps AmplITube family products could be considered qualifiers in the future. I make no guarantees or promises of the result but if it makes sense to me (and it does) I should be able to at least make a case for it.

IK Grand Finale - T-Racks 5 V2 Max for $49.99!

The upgrade is the same product, you are shown the version for which you qualify when you are in our store. I guess the difference in what the license is called may be important to someone who may want to resell their plug-ins later, so I see that but note it is the same exact set of plugins. -
Yes, we'll have them use the proper name for the product that is on sale which will help. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention so I can have our sales reps wrangle in their dealer listings. We provide the TONEX Upgrade SKU for the promotion, unfortunately their listing has incorrect information but will be corrected.
-
Never mind, I found it in the FAQ. You took a shot of the crossgrade section of the FAQ. The promotion is TONEX Upgrade. The Upgrade section of that same FAQ says:
-
"Within a family of products" is correct. TONEX SE is the only other paid version of TONEX so that is what qualifies. What is the URL of the first screenshot? I can have that corrected.
-
Their qualification criteria is not correct, I will have our reps talk to them. TONEX SE qualifies you for the upgrade pricing.
-
It is included per https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/axeio/index.php?p=apps The dropdown is additional bonus SE titles.
-
One SE that is not on sale here (seed has been planted, I'll see what I can do ) but it is still worth noting is TONEX SE which is the lowest-cost option to unlock unlimited User Tone Models in ToneNET instead of the hard limit of 20 in CS.
-
Only new purchases are eligible to unlock group buy free items, this policy has been in place for the last couple/few. But the T-RackS 5 MAX advice is solid.

I knew I should have bought every Tone Model from Sultans of Stomp before they went away ?
