  1. But anyway I stick to 24 bit/44.1kHz. My computer is feeble and I am the end user. If my computer were up to the task, I would work at 96kHz - everything I do is ITB.
  2. But what's ITB is also not stepped. There are no stairs in digital audio. http://productionadvice.co.uk/no-stair-steps-in-digital-audio/
  3. There's a lot of interesting stuff on this site regarding bit depths and sample rates, mastering and so on: http://productionadvice.co.uk/blog/ Here's an interest bit on sample rates: http://productionadvice.co.uk/high-sample-rates-make-your-music-sound-worse/#more-5689
  4. That's exactly the false representation I was referring to.
  5. Digital is not stepped. When your audio is in digital format it is basically a large number of samples, i.e this volume at this point in time, not this volume until the next sample. They are points on a graph, not blocks. When you play back your digital audio it is converted back to analogue, ie a smooth curve. If you input a pure sine wave into a computer's ADC and then output it through the DAC, you get a pure sine wave. No steps are anywhere to be heard.
  6. The forum was rest to 40 posts per page. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/54-how-do-i-provide-feedback-about-this-community-itself/&do=findComment&comment=6700
  7. Looks like somebody's had a night on the Guinness.
  8. All you need to know in less than 6 minutes.
  9. The horror! I get the same thing with Jacob Rees-Mogg. Apparently I want to watch clips of him "destroying liberals" - he doesn't and I don't.
  10. Jordan Peterson is repulsive.
  11. The old Coffee House was certainly a mother'. This new one is lacking a certain joie de vivre so far.
  12. Which leads to the best ever version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
  13. And that would depend on whether I'd got to meet Kylie yet.
  14. I would end up at the North Pole. Do I get to meet Santa?
  15. She would if she met me. Probably ... possibly ... er maybe.
  16. And then, of course, there's Britain's own cut-price Kylie - Billie (looking sweet, not sexy).
  17. How peculiar. We seem to have somebody that doesn't like Kylie. So here's the rest of that dance:
