	Thank you for the quick reply! Everything works great with Cakewalk other than this. It generally runs very well on this PC. I love it.
 
	***After I ran through your questions, it dawned on me that I didn't try the download just on WiFi instead of wired. Well, well, well... it worked. So, that is an interesting development that I will need to dive into.  Thank you so much for forcing me through this exercise. Issue resolved!

	- Yep, all up to date - Win11 Home - 24H2.  AMD Ryzen 7 4800H / 32GB RAM / 64bit 
	 
	Is your internet rock solid? - no drop outs, etc
 
	- Its rock solid.  
	 
	You have disabled all firewalls..... what about antivirus and/or VPN? - disabled those too (I use Malwarebytes Premium 5 realtime protection - still no issues)
 
	- No VPN. Disabled all firewalls.  
	 
	Is this with an ethernet cable between your PC and your router (IE not wireless)
 
	- Wired, all Cat7, i believe.
 
	 
	Are you able to try on a PC with a fresh install of Windows?

	What is your download speed according to https://speedtest.net
 
	- Download Mbps - 936.96   /   Upload Mbps  20.25   Ping ms  16  /  22 /   22
