Do you use a notation program, or Cakewalk/Sonar, and if the latter, do you play the parts in?
-
Listening now on YouTube.

Are you going to release the entire series as a compilation at some point?

Beautiful work, Jerry. Both the astrophotos and the music. I really enjoyed listening to the music. What libraries do you use primarily for the orchestral realization? I have the Hubble deep field photo as the background on both of my monitors, so it was on one while your video was playing on the other. 😉

Very well done! I enjoyed listening.

I love this one! Both the images and especially the music.

Yes, it does sound better now. -
Symphony #13 for the Virtual Orchestra, 3rd movement (adagio)

I like the music, but it is kind of flat dynamically. After looking at the score, I can see why. There are no dynamic markings, or crescendos or decrescendos. That would add a lot. -
Beautiful composition, and it did bring me peace, if only for 6'42". Great astro images too! What is your setup for astrophotography? Before I remembered that you are an astrophotographer, I was thinking they were Hubble images.

Thanks @treesha. I also had a picture of the original pillars image cut from the newspaper on my fridge for years.

Here's a new ambient piece done in Sonar called "Descent". It's done with the new Hyperion library from PluginGuru.com called Cinematic Landscapes. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14951165

Musically, I don't mind the vocal effect, but if the lyrics are important to you, I have a hard time understanding them. Why not try mixing some uneffected vocal with the effected one to make it a bit more understandable.

Coming Soon: Scaler 3 - buy Scaler 2 now, get the upgrade free
Martin Schiff replied to audioschmaudio's topic in Deals
I already owned Scaler 2, but bought into the $49 deal so I didn't have to deal with Plugin Boutique. I can't imagine that the upgrade will be much cheaper than that, but even if it is, it was worth it to me. -
Very nice! I enjoyed watching and listening. Especially impressive that you did the astrophotography as well.

I've done this with Macrium Reflect a number of times. It works great. Never had a problem.
