  2. I doubt that, simply because it's only existed since 2018. The latest release is 2019.07.
  3. I think the power of Dim Pro is that it's a synthesizer that uses samples. Not really intended to be a full blown sampler. There are other better options if you are really looking for a sampler. NI Kontakt is probably the leading commercial sampler, with a zillion factory and 3rd party instrument sample libraries available for purchase. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6/ "The industry-standard: KONTAKT powers the biggest selection of sampled instruments available" "Included factory library puts 55+ GB of detailed, creative, and expressive instruments at your fingertips" "Shape your sound with on-board tools including modulation, wavetables, envelopes, and effects" TX16Wx Software Sampler is an excellent free sampler where you can create your own instruments from samples: https://www.tx16wx.com/ "inspired and modeled after the best hardware samplers with all the ease and new exciting features of modern software." "Extensive sound shaping" "Unlimited modulation" "File browser and active preview" "Powerful mapping editor" "Wave editor and beat slicer"
  4. Ok, sorry that you lost your lifeline to a great synth! If it's any consolation, I can recommend an awesome free synth that somewhat reminds me of z3ta+. It's a subtractive hybrid that can use wavetables. It comes with 1000 factory patches, and 183 wavetables. Plenty of wave shaping controls and great sounds! Vember Audio Surge Synth is now free and open source, and currently maintained by volunteer developers. You can get it here: https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/
  5. I checked my serial number email from Cakewalk from back when I purchased Z3TA+2 directly from the Cakewalk web store in 2012, and it contains the serial number and registration code. If you purchased the product from a 3rd party retailer, you probably got the credentials from Cakewalk when you redeemed a code at the Cakewalk web site. Since you say you still have the original emails, I would suggest taking a closer look at them.
  6. Aha! I see now. I created the new account in 2014 when I was making a purchase in the store. I recall having to ensure all of my products were migrated. Unfortunately, besides the serial number, you will also need the registration code listed in your account in order to activate the original version of Z3TA+2. That was generated when you first registered the software to your account. So unless you wrote that down somewhere, the installer will do no good.
  7. I find that difficult to understand. What exactly did they tell you? I have had my account for years before 2012.
  8. I've noticed that too, but since all of my plugins are installed on my internal SSD, the scan is so quick I usually miss it. I have over 525 plugins, but only a handful are Waves.
  9. You should probably invest in a quality audio interface for your audio output. The built-in PC audio is really designed for headphones or PC speakers. A real audio interface would give you a better line level audio signal to connect to a PA system. The good news is that many of them have a built-in 5-pin MIDI interface.
  10. Yes, they should be able to get your account details sorted. Then your licensed products will still be available from your legacy Cakewalk "My Account". Good luck!
  11. I would still PM your ticket# to Peter. Only way they will improve their support!
  12. Bananarama encore!!! Because once is just not enough...
  13. List of songs produced by Stock Aitken Waterman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_produced_by_Stock_Aitken_Waterman Yay! Bananarama!!!
  14. I have been a lifelong PF fan. This particular song is pretty much mainstream for them and the album it came from, Dark Side of the Moon (their 8th studio album), catapulted them to #1 on the album charts. It is still one of the best selling albums of all time. The Floyd were highly experimental in their early days. There is one song from their 4th album that I still don't quite understand:
  15. The 80's pop hits were all "manufactured". The MTV generation... They all sounded alike. So do today's pop hits. Nothing has really changed, except what the consumer masses consider "popular". Underneath all that there has been great new wave, grunge, hard rock, heavy metal, prog rock, and others, etc. But those bands rarely hit the top of the pop charts and sold as many records. It's all about the money. They even hired Elton John's lyricist, Bernie Taupin, to write the lyrics for "We Built This City".
  16. I haven't contacted anybody. Not a big enough problem for me to warrant the effort. Just putting the info out there.
  17. Hmmm... strange! Under "Advanced" on the XLN installer here, I only show paths for VST32 and VST64, and nothing about AAX. I just ran the update check with XLN, and no install repairs showed up about AAX for me. So I checked this path again: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins". It appears that XLN had already "repaired" the Avid folder and replaced the AAX files that I had removed a month ago. In addition, I had recently re-ran an Akai/AIR installer that also replaced the AAX plugins in the Avid folder. So I deleted Avid again, and now the XLN installer says that 2 products need repairing. Then I just shut down the installer without completing the repairs, and the VST plugins still work just fine. I cannot believe that XLN has hard coded the AAX plugin install into their online installer tool. That's nuts!!! Same goes for the Akai/AIR offline installer!!!
  18. I was disappointed to discover that ReWire had been removed from all but the full version of Reason. I recently acquired Reason Lite 10 with some hardware, and was looking to explore ReWire with that, but it's still $299 to upgrade from Intro/Lite. Since I do have Notion, that still may be worth checking out ReWire for notation with a DAW.
  19. Sektor update to version 1.3.4 has been released. Check your account for the download link.
  20. Another annoyance is that some 3rd party installers default to my "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VstPlugins" folder instead of "C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns" folder. If I catch that before I hit OK, it's usually not a problem. I only want my Cakewalk plugins in their respective folder and everything else in the general folder.
  21. Just fyi, be aware that the major feature updates to Windows 10 (i.e. 1809, 1903, etc.) are actually full OS version upgrades, not just patches. The relevant issue here is that this Windows upgrade will change the computer ID of the system that some product activation/authorization systems rely on, rendering some products inactivated after the upgrade. Also, sometimes Windows system settings can be reset from custom settings that you may have applied. It is a good idea to keep a checklist of any modifications you may have made to preferences, so that you can verify they are still active after an upgrade.
  22. Like a lot of other Air Music Tech stuff, it still has value, and a good sound, but is time for a facelift! But for the price, it's worth a shot! There is not much else out there that can do what it can. And there may be a few small bugs, but no showstoppers.
