  4. I like those Elektromagnetik keys, though already had them. Mighty, mighty fine!!!
  5. Yep, thanks! I've watched all of the AT 5 videos and walk-throughs, and IK tech talks, but as a non guitar player I am not certain that VIR would justify $150 difference for me. I think that the option to add a 3rd amp or cab to the chain might be a bigger deal for me. That VIR tech sure seems like a lot of geek-tweaking to me, LOL! So I would mostly be just using the bass amps and cabs for virtual basses, and maybe occasionally a virtual guitar plug-in here or there. I'm mostly into synths and keys. At the end of the group buy I should have all of the AT v5 gear (I got AT v4 MAX included in the last TS MAX crossgrade, as I wasn't actually looking to buy it), and it seems that is likely much more than I could ever use! Maybe the next total studio upgrade will get me the full AT 5.
  6. Thanks! That's the straight answer I was looking for!
  7. Not really asking about the v4 gear, but rather the a la carte v5 gear in the Custom Shop, and how it would work in AT 5 CS.
  8. Isn't the new gear added to v5 available a la carte via the v5 Custom Shop? Would this v5 gear actually function differently in SE vs. CS?
  9. @Peter - IK MultimediaQuestion: if I already own AT 4 MAX, and AT 5 CS, and I add all of the remaining AT gear collections that I don't have, is there any point to upgrading/crossgrading to a full AT 5 version? Or is the core app the same for all AT 5 versions, including CS?
  10. Just insert the synth as a simple instrument track, and ensure that your MIDI controller is connected to the track just like John said, and you should be good to go! The simple instrument track is set up to just show you the MIDI data recording, but you will be able to hear the synth audio output through the Cakewalk audio outputs when you play.
  11. Reminder - Ample Sound 20% off ends in 2 days!
  12. It's back on the $29 list now. Already had it, but was showing up as free earlier. Looks like the free offer has expired!
  13. I agree that ownership is a mess, and IK could probably make that more user friendly!!! So I probably had to spend a couple of hours trolling through what I did and didn't have last night. Big waste of time if you ask me!!! ?
  14. When is IK going to add the Resonator as a qualifying item? ?
  15. Me too! Actually it's me 9.... ? I got the IK special price of $90.99 (with current IK promo discount) on the T-RackS Comprexxor, which got me in at the $129 level...
  16. My crystal ball tells me that this GB it will reach at least the 9th tier with 15 more days remaining, if the current trend continues... ? But then again, it might become a moon shot towards the end, LOL!
  17. Skippy from PluginGuru featured the Cymatics Origin plugin during his livestream on Saturday. It's a pretty cool plugin!
  18. I picked this one up, and inserted it on a u-he Repro5 track with a fat sawtooth pad, and guess what? It was even fatter!!! But it only goes to 10! ?
  19. Yep, it seems that Korg tried to keep it pure with their virtual versions. I have several old Roland romplers, including the JV-1080, but It seems that Roland has possibly not been faithful to the originals. I have tried to follow a long and confusing thread on the topic over at KVR, but I'm still not sure what you get with Roland cloud. Some have claimed that the JV-1080 and the XV-5080 virtual versions share the exact same emulations... WTH?
