  1. Burned up 4 of my freebies that way!
  2. It's just the time anomaly (blast from the past) that the JRR site experiences now and then. Nothing to see here, so move along... ?
  3. It's a good thing I got those for free! $579, wowzer!!!
  4. I think Peter's explanation is probably the best. AMP impedance improvements and speaker VIR additions to AT5 SE and higher. You don't get those with AT5 CS, which is what I was previously running my AT4 MAX collections in. My opinion was formed when I took AT4 MAX, and bought AT5 SE specifically for the amp and speaker enhancements. Looking at these things from a "modular" viewpoint, I did not get any specific collection updates for those that I already had. They remain the same as far as I can tell. No new versions were downloaded. So I would look at it as the whole product evolved, without requiring software updates to the collections themselves. I do see the speaker enhancements in AT5, so that is correct. And I will take IK & Peter's word for the amp impedance improvements. The only collections that I did not already have with AT4 MAX were the Brian, Joe, and Dime collections, which I picked up as group buy freebies.
  5. Exactly what I was referring to. But that is not exactly the same thing as an upgrade to any existing collections... just an upgrade to the "host". Not bad at all, but the actual question being asked was "are the collections upgraded for AT5". It's fine if it was just that AT5 was enhanced, but be honest that the collections themselves were not changed (not that they needed to be) ...
  6. What you are really saying is that the AT5 core app has significant improvements, which I agree with, and Peter has confirmed. But there is no evidence which I have seen that the collections themselves have been updated. I have AT4 MAX, and AT5 SE, plus all of the collections not included in AT4 MAX.
  7. Only 943 to go until 7 freebies!
  8. I'm under the assumption that NONE of the collections got updated for AT5. Just the new collections released since AT4, and the new speaker and cabinet modelling to make them all sound better!
  9. That stray location got me too... listed under alpabetical order as CFH (Cowboys from Hell).
  10. Tha... tha... that's all folks!!! Except for The Resonator...
  11. I only need one more to complete my Cinekinetik collection, then I'm done! ? New SSD drive to accomodate is on the way! My 1TB sample and content drive is nearly full!
  12. Right. It's an issue exposed by Microsoft, but you would expect that by now the XLN devs would have adjusted their activation scheme to account for it. Who knows, maybe they have?
  13. If you scroll down to the "includes " section for each product below, you can see the specific modules that you get with each version of TR5 SE and TR5: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5se/ Includes Master Match, Dyna-Mu, EQual, One, and Full Metering, plus the 4 "classic" modules same as TR5. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr5/?pkey=tr5 Includes Tape Echo, Black 76, White 2A, Vintage Tube Compressor, De-Esser, and Classic Room Reverb, plus 4 "classic" modules same as SE.
  14. I've experienced that a few times in the past after a Windows 10 update had changed my computer ID. But not recently...
  15. Just grab Elektromagnetik from IK, and be happy! https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/stelectromagnetik/?pkey=sampletank-sounds-electromagnetik
  16. Good question! But I own all 3 Leslie's from IK, so I'm covered! Hammond B-3X (integrated Leslie) T-RackS Leslie (so I can run any instrument through a Leslie) Amplitube Leslie (well, just because... Leslie)
  17. The definition of "abandonware" is anything by inMusic (AIR, SONiVOX, etc), No substantial updates in years, yet they keep selling stuff cheap. I don't think that XLN Audio falls into that tier...
  18. Take a look at Amadeus Symphonic Orchestra (if you have not already). Don from Sonic Scores (Overture) collaborated with Tracy at Indigenus to develop an all-in-one library for Kontakt Player. It's probably the best $149 one can spend for a comprehensive composition tool. $99 for those that already have Overture 5, and that is plug and play ready with Amadeus. https://sonicscores.com/amadeus/ https://soundbytesmag.net/review-amadeus-symphonic-orchestra-from-sonic-scores/
  19. I have XLN AD2, Toontrack EZDrummer, & IK MODO Drum. For XLN I have the ADPacks: Rock, Pop, Prog, Fairfax 1 & 2, Vintage Dry, United Heavy, Black Velvet, & Session Percussion. For EZDrummer I have: Americana, Classic Rock, Reggae, & Rock Solid. For MODO Drum, well... ? I cannot imagine that I need more, as all of these cover quite a range! And I really feel that AD2 is probably my favorite...
