I think all UAD plugins run on all thier stuff. I have an Apollo, a Satellite, and a PCIe card and all my UAD pkugins work on all of them. The only plugins that are "exclusive " are the ones for Luna. I think what they mean by "For Apollo users" is the Apollo's ability to use the plugins in the Unison tech slot of the Apollo.

Most NICs are hardwired into the mainboard. That maybe why they chose that. It might cut down on the "I changed my hardware" support calls. And I hear ya Erik on all you valid reasons for using iLOk. If it serves you well, by all means use it. I bought a program long time ago that used Pace. Something went wrong and there was no recourse. I couldn't use the software any more. So I swore back then I would never use another product that uses Pace. That was before they started charging for the service!! When that happened I thought no one would buy into that!! I thought "Nobody gonna pay for a dongle to put lic on!" I thought Pace and Steinberg were crazy when all that started. Show's you how much I know!!!

I am. I don't want to pay someone else for the ability to use what I already bought. That makes no sense to me. So I won't buy from companies that use iLok. If iLok worked to prevent thievery, these programs wouldn't already be cracked. Just to be clear, I harbor no ill will to anyone who uses iLok. To each his own. Pace will never get another penny of mine!

Yes it was. I never bought another product from them. To their credit, I can still use the plugins I have previously purchased from them. Worse!!

I remember back in the day when I first heard all the talk of side chain. This plugin had it first, all plugins should have it in this day and age, why wasn't this new plugin released with sidechaining features, ect, ect!! Never really paid much attention to it at all. Until I saw someone mention how to make more room for the kick drum. I tried it and couldn't believe how much it helped!! I do it in every project now. Makes mixing that much easier. If you have never tried it, watch the video and give it a shot in your own mixes.

Both. All I had in the paths was the folder to SampleTank 3. So I added ST4, and Syntronic 2 folders also. And reinstalled CATO. If I don't see more on some of the others I will reinstall those too. Thanks again.

@User 905133 @abacab This is what I see now when I select the CATO synth!!! I got a whole bunch more Presets too!!! Let me go through the rest of these things and make sure they installed correctly.

When I load the CATO synth, this is what I see in the edit window when I click the wave slot. Maybe for the CATO there is only one? Because on the 99 synth (v2) there are a bunch!!

OK. I did see the Reinstall Library option, and I think I did reinstall the ones I updated. Not really sure. Let me check this out. Along with User's suggestion below. Going to do that now. Will let ya'll know what I find.

No, not all. Not even in the same ballpark as Bapu!! But I do have a lot. I also now own an UA Apollo that has some really great sounding plugins. Most of the time I use the UAD stuff, Waves, Plugin Alliance, and of course, IK stuff. Don't have all the UAD stuff, but I got all I want. Got a lot of PA and IK stuff!! Almost all the Waves stuff too. But I have no Slate, McDSP, Softube, and others like those. There is a lot I don't have. I am just happy with what I do have.

Ok, when I was checking out the presets, I had only one option when I tried to choose a wave in the oscillator. The preset I remember had two oscillator waves, both the same, and when I tried to add a third, it only gave me the option of that one wave, already being used in the first two oscillators. I could edit all the parameters, but only one wave was available. If I can get access to more waves for the oscillators, and not have to buy Syntronik 2 Full, that's what I would prefer to do. So thanks to @User 905133, @abacab for helping me understand this. Not at home right now so I can't sort this out until I get home. Will post update.

Just got through (today) d/l my new choices. Got all the new Syntronik2 synths. Upgrade 10 of the old ones. All I have is Syntronik 1 Deluxe and Syntronik 2 CS and I am really enjoying these new sounds. I don't have a lot of waves to choose from (in edit mode), but what I do have I can work with them and get some really nice sounds. I am not a synth programer, just a synth hacker!! LOL I am really amazed at how easy it is to work Syntronik synths. I have an old Trigger Finger that I am able to use to control parameters of the synths, I can load four different ones, select the keyboard range very easily, I mean this thing is fun to play with. Spent some hours today just listening and seeing what all it's about. I'm really loving it. That CATO sounds fantastic!! As does the 99. I barely scratched the surface of this thing too. If you thinking about this GB, I would say jump on in!! I will also get Syntronik 2 when it goes on sale too!!

I don't either. My purchasing of them has gone down drastically in the last year. I don't see that changing anytime soon... if ever.

This plugin has almost an insane amount of control over the type of distortion it produces. For $20, this is a no-brainer.
