Got my Voucher. How long to hold on to it?
-
With as much IK has to offer, you would think they would have some type of installer for all this. CS should automatically see you need to update and offer to d/l and install.

Sale still going on ain't it? Thought Peter said it was extended?

Head in a Basket - Constructive mix feedback welcome!
Grem replied to Myriad Rocker's topic in Songs
I think he means the guitar stutter effect. I listened the other day several times Myriad on my Bose HP. Though the second sounds clear, the kick lacks some oomph to it. The first mix has more umph in the kick. I thought I posted about this, but when I opened my Surface there it was, it hadn't been sent!! -
LOL!! I have often thought of this myself!!

Anyone Have to Put Limits on Track Numbers?
Grem replied to razor7music's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
This is the way I thought when I was working with 4trk! Then I got this... and well, I find I still stick to pretty much one guitar, unless like Craig, I need to process the guitar differently for a certain section, that will go on a different trk. I tried to use like 4-5 guitar trks and it just never worked out. It just didn't sound the same as the one good trk by itself. I guess too much processing takes aways something. Maybe it's smoothing the transients out more than they were, or making them stand out more than the original one trk. I just find it harder to work with lots of layers of trks. But by all means, the main reason I have always loved Rock-n-Roll was..... there's no rules!! Do what you feel you gotta do! And trust your ears! -
Ride it!! Yes you do deserve it!! Keep doing what your doing.

He maybe right about this. I can find upgrades for EZ Mix Upgrades at Sweetwater, but no EZ Drummer Lite Upgrades.

Here in the US it ends up being $28 for me with code.

Can't blame a man for trying!!

And Eddie Rabbit wrote Kentucky Rain! Back then I thought they all wrote their own songs!!

[Solved] How To Change Midi Channel On All Notes On A Track
Grem replied to Grem's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Never thought about that Steve. That is an easy method too. Thanks. I tried the Event Filter, Event List, all of the Midi fx that I thought might give me the results. All with dead ends as far as changing the channel. -
I like your instructions on saving the files: Command click > save as on the other one. The 'other one'!! LOL! I watched the video. Don't know if I like that inlay at the twelfth fret all that much. Looks good, but...

[Solved] How To Change Midi Channel On All Notes On A Track
Grem replied to Grem's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Colin I found the answer on Page 110 of the Reference Manual. There is a option in the trk header to select which Midi Channel you want the info sent to. My issue was that my Widget Filter up on top was set to Custom and it was not showing the Channel Widget on the Midi trks. Changed it to All and it shows al the widgets and the Channel Select widget was then visible and I was able to set the trk to send the notes to the channel I want. -
[Solved] How To Change Midi Channel On All Notes On A Track
Grem replied to Grem's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
So the jist of it is, once the channel info is set on a midi note, it seems hard to change them all at one time. I can go into the properties and change the note info one note at a time, but that is unrealistic for a whole trk that has many notes. I am just finding it had to believe there is no way to do this all at one time. Thanks for your response Colin. -
Me too. Not that I don't want it. Or that the price is not right. It's just I haven't installed everything from when I got the Max bundle! So I got some time. I'll get it later.

This is what I was wondering about EZ Mix Lite. So I was trying to find out what it does/doesn't do. Can I save with it? What can I do with it? I found all kinds of questions about how to upgrade from EZ MIx Lite to the full version, but nothing to tell me what the limitations/ features on EZ Mix Lite. So I came here to see what I could find out. Maybe someone here is using it? Has it? I mean JRR has no description of it what it does on the page. Went to Sweetwater and all they have is upgrades from EZ Mix Lite to EZ MIx full. But no description of what EZ Mix Lite is about.

I tried to find out what EZ mIx Lite is and I could find nothing on their site to inform me. So what is EZ Mix Lite? Why would I want it?

Going... going... go......... Good luck Larry! : )

Black Box Analog is really sweet. I missed using the code twice. But I did use it once to get Vitalizer for $9.

Good job Gary! I love it. This was one of my favorite songs when growing up.

Nice I like it!! Really mellow tune well done. I like your vocals. (Listening to Mr Together). I like the pop feel of this song. Subject could be a funny one, or a sad one. Depends on how you take it. At first I thought it was funny. But then as I listened to it again, I thought maybe she was calling and letting the guy know she's getting married in the hope that he would stop her. And the guy is sitting there trying to convince himself that she's better off with the other guy. But then again, it could just be a simple pop song!! : ) I wouldn't change anything with it. I liked it as it is. [edit] Harvey Family surprised the h**l out of me! Dat's a good one there.
