LOL!! Yep, the mind is the first to go!! LOL!!! jk

Yep. Aplitube is the one I have been grabbing for a while now. With the Mesa collection and the Fender 2 collection, that about gets me eveything I want right there. And for some variety TH3 and that little Brunetti Metropolatin. And I have been trying Mercruial Reaxis amp sim too. I like that for real heavy crunch sounds. But really, Amplitube does almost everything I need.

Yes they are still selling this at half price!! Put it in your cart and go to check out you will see it's still $49!! You slippn'!! : )
-
As far as I could see, yes. That price is for one speaker.
-
That's what I have. But when I go to load one in CbB, go to Kazrog plugins, I got over twenty amps listed. And to try them, I got to load each one, one at a time. PITFA! Ain't worth it. Maybe one day when I ain't got nothing else to do I may look at some. Yeah, right! I liked it much better when he had the amps intergrated with the Speaker IR program. Mad it much easier to use. When he came out with ReCab 5 and all those different amps it was like wha?

Good tune Freddy. I liked the solo in the middle. That was on the Spam guitar?!! What ever you did to get the tone on it was working. I enjoyed the whole thing. Like the vocals. That double fx you got going on that sure sounds unique!! Did you do any Vocal Align on it? Sounds on the money all the way through. Good job, good job!!
-
The tone on the guitar was great!! I mean, Larry is great, extremely clean and tight, that's Larry. But you really gave it a relaxed loose feel that I really enjoyed. The first solo was nothing to be ashamed of. But that solo at the end was the topper!! I didn't remember a solo like that at the end, so I listened to the original. I gotta say, you really did this song justice. Agree about the Donald vocal delivery. You did well in that. Bass playing was nothing to sneeze at either! Very enjoyable listen.

This sounds like a psyched out song for sure!! Man I could never come up with stuff like this!! Really liked it. Listened twice!~!
-
Thank you Douglas and kakku for the listen. This makes my day!! : )
-
That's a really good drummer there!! He also looks pretty relaxed doing it too!
-
That's great news Noel!! This will help alot.
-
He's good ain't he!!? LoL!!

My Reverb.com Deals Today--Some still on sale (Boz Digital, etc)
Grem replied to SmokeyJ628's topic in Deals
Buyer Beware Alert!! I got the RYM2612 and am not able to d/l the software. Reverb.com says in the webpage that a link will be sent by email. Well the link they send brings me back to MY Account Purchases. It has a link on it for me to d/l it from the software maker. That link brings me to the software product page that wants to sell me the software again, but no d/l link. Went to Reverb.com and had a chat with support. They said one or two days before someone will get back with me. I have a support ticket in at the software maker also. I tried this on FireFox and Chrome to make sure it wan't a browser issue. Update: The software makers have gotten back with me already. Really good response. Said they are going to contact Reverb.com and ask why this is happening. Still waiting. : ( -
That's what I did last month. My voucher didn't get used.
-
Definitely. I thought the same thing too. Good job Larry.

Yep, I like it heavy, somewhat. I'll give it a listen. It's good to get a variety of music in here. That's what I like about this place. It's all over the place!! Listened to Desolation and Requiem and I can say that's a little harder than I usually listen to. You did a good job on the Prodution. Both songs sounded like they came off the same album. Playing was executed well as was the recording/mix/mastering. At the end of Requiem, is that drummer really that fast? : ) If so, give him props!! That was quite a finish!!

What I do Mark is Freeze the trk and Archive it. This way if years later (it's happened) the software I used on that trk is no longer available, I still have that frozen trk. Un-Archive it and you can look to see what's in it as far as fx. Then I can make the decision to unfreeze or not.
-
Yes I am seeing this too. I use the Alt key shortcut to do splits on the fly and the cursor will not change until I move it slightly while holding the Alt key. It use to be if my cursor was on a clip and I pressed the Alt key, the cursor would instantly change. And since you and I are both seeing the same thing, but doing it in different ways, I would say it's a bug! A very minor one, but a bug nonetheless!! : )
-
This is intended behavior. And at first I thought that it should respect the changes made to the frozen trk. However, as time went on I saw that the state in which the trk was frozen is the state it returns to, has tremendous benefits. Allows you to save a state of the trk, then drag the frozen audio to a new trk, manipulate the heck out of it, and then, like LT says, if you want/need to change a certain aspect of it, then you still have that original version!! This benefit may not be realized until many months have passed, even years!

Quantize, groove quantize, Audiosnap, Snap To Grid etc
Grem replied to EDT's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Did you have the Now Time Marker located at the first beat? Maybe the way you performed the Tempo Change only inserted a Tempo Change for that first beat, and left the rest alone, at the previous tempo. Are you new to this DAW software? If so, may want to check out some tutorials and get familiar with it. Cakewalk is a very powerful and feature rich program. To get the most out of your experience with it you will want to do some reading of the manual. It is setup to give you very good info on the things you would like to do with the software. It also gives us some common ground so that when you come to ask questions, you can refer to a section of the manual and we will know exactly what your talking about/trying to do. And from there we can guide you to the best way to do what your trying to do. HTH -
Quantize, groove quantize, Audiosnap, Snap To Grid etc
Grem replied to EDT's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Makes it snap 'To' the Snap setting. The more 'relaxed' this setting is the less it will snap to the grid (what ever the snap setting is). -
