Ye the microwave trick works well. I just use very low power when heating it. Like 2. Gets it just warm enough to relive that first time!! : ) LOL!! Never tried the Duncan Donuts. For me it's plain ole glaze or Apple Fritters! Or cinnamon twists. OR Honey Buns!! Or... I like me some donuts!!! I gotta stay away!!!
-
I would always see KK Donuts in the stores, people would buy them and.... well I thought people who bought those KK in the stores, never ate a donut from a real donut shop. Why would they buy those things?? But the day I ate KK donuts hot off the assembly line......wow!!! Then I understood!! They were trying to relive a memory!!

I grabbed it to try it out. I won't get to try it till tonight though.

Great deal here. One of the best bang for buck in a while. Example: Get CLA and JJP and get say Greg Wells for free. That equals 16 plugins. Total cost per plugin $9.65! If you choose the Eddie bundle instead of the Greg bundle, that works out to $9.08 per plugin!! If you choose TM bundle, it's $8.58 per plugin!! These are all great plugins.

And there is a big difference!!

Looks interesting.....

Agreed. And if I ever did a sub, or had to do one, it would be with Melda. Not PA. YEah, we all done got use to that!! : )
-
That's the downfall of all of us!! I don't drink or smoke.... anymore! But when I did..... I did my share and a little of everybody else's share too!! LOL!! TMI I know.

Zo, just hang in there buddy!! It's gonna be a ride!!
-
That's a good one!!! LOL! : ) Agree with this.
-
That's what I was telling Zo in another thread. It seems IK just throws stuff out there with no rhyme or reason to it! Like the Fender Princeton Amp. Why is it not in one of the Fender collections? Marketing I guess.
-
Yes, it is illegal, and they all probably knew it. Or at least one or two of them did. That is great news. Maybe that's why Vertigo left them?
-
Agree. This is has been my strategy. But my point was ALL brands will go sub eventually. At least with Waves you do own something. You don't want to WUP it, then don't. But you still own it. With PA sub (and maybe the rest too?) you don't own anything.
-
Well, ... I can see a pattern here. All brands in the PA catalog will have their own sub. All brands will have their own sub. Eventually. Or they will get really creative and think of calling it something like Wup!! Gotta give it to Waves, they got in before the rest and we didn't even feel it!! LOL

You may be on to something here. But honestly, I think it reads like "Subscription Time!" That's what I read too.
-
That is the only Fender amp not in the collection. Gotta get it separate. And Russ is right. The only way to get the Pinnacale is buying it or getting AT MAX. Some of the stuff IK just seems to throw out there. They should do a build your own pedal collections, amp collection......
-
Believe me Zo, I have spent countless hours on listening to different amps, different speakers with those same amps, and even different tubes in those same amps! And I ain't even gonna bring up the stomp boxes!! We all looking for that tone my brudda!!
-
Same thing I would do!! Not meant to be!!
-
They have a few of them in there. But not a 'Collection' like the Fender, Ampeg, Mesa stuff. They got like one Engl amp, maybe 2 Dr Z? Can't remember off hand.
-
We tried to tell them this!!! But they are allowing the BM pack to be purchased with Jam Points/Gear Credits so they are giving a discount. And IIRC, they don't usually let you use Gear Credits on a new product. But they did on this one, which is why I was able to grab it for $67. But just think what would have went on if they would have introduced the Brain May at a $99 intro price, and it's eligible for the group buy!!? We'd be over the 6000 mark by now. Peter, ya'll need to seriously talk to those marketing guys. They missed a golden opportunity!! Maybe there was some type of contractual agreement that prohibited this? IDK

Never tried real versions of either Soundwise. I don't use Distortion pedals much. Well, let me say didn't use them much. About 10 years ago I started with a Boss DS1 that I modded to my liking. Next distortion pedals I got (when they were out about a yr.) was Mesa Tone Burst. It's mostly a clean boost that I leave on all the time. I liked the Tone Burst so much that I got two more of the Mesa pedals, Grid Slammer (mostly overdrive) and the Flux Drive (full distortion). But in the AT lineup, I like the OCD the best. I gave the Wampler a try but just didn't like it that much. Neither their version of the Tube Screamer. And I wished IK would bring in the Mesa pedals, they are really good. Maybe some Keely stuff too!! @Zo I was playing with AT yesterday and was really impressed with how they have brought it along. I am a guitar player, and it works for me!! I like the layout, the way you can save your presets the way you want, the recorder built in works well, the Cab section is really nice, I am like it a lot. It's my fav amp sim for sure.

It did me too. And I have a Mk IIb, Maverick, Mini Recto, and a Mk IV (with 6L6's and EL34's in it!) amps. And when I demo'd the IK Boogie Collection I was like, "Yep, I'ma gonna get this one" and I paid full price (almost, minus Jam Points) Another surprise for me was the Fender 2 collection. Nice. Told ya them Fulltones was good!! : ) Enjoy. Hope you get it sorted out with the over-purchase!! That has never happened to me!! Yeah, right!
