But the vouchers can't be used on the sale price for items. Only based on the MSRP. At least they couldn't the last time I got one.
From Waves WUP Benefits description:
The voucher may not be combined with multiple plugin discounts
That was the only sentence dealing with anything that sounded like "Plugins On Sale"
So is a sale plug the voucher considered "multiple plugin discounts"?
Also someone like me who has almost everything that Waves has to sell, what am I going to use a voucher for like this? I could buy another bundle (such as Vocal Bundle or such) and put it on another machine. I suppose that would be use case. But for me that voucher will go to waste. About like a NI voucher!!
Here is the whole statement if anyone would like to see what we are referring to:
*** For every dollar you spend on a renewed Waves Update Plan, you will receive a Waves voucher for the same amount. This voucher may be redeemed for up to 50% toward any bundle, application (e.g. MultiRack, eMotion LV1), or upgrade, or up to 25% toward any plugin, off the price at the time of redemption. The voucher may not be combined with multiple plugin discounts. The voucher cannot be used toward hardware, hardware/software combos, subscriptions (including 5-Pack), courses, the Abbey Road Studio 3 plugin, or Waves Update Plan coverage. The voucher can be used for one order only and does not carry a remaining balance. Multiple vouchers may not be combined.

I was able to get a 15% discount on my WUP ($240 down to $211) from Everyplugin.com so that was good value to bring me fully up to date on V12 for all my plugins
I had never Wup'd and really didn't see a need. But I had a lot of v9 and v10 plugins, so I figured for the price from everyplugin.com it was worth it. Now I may not do it again for a long while. But I am glad it's an option to do it or not do it.

the fact that I ordered the hard drive doesn't mean I will get it. Apparently, on the eve of the sale offer, they have run low on them, so I will only know when I receive notice it has been posted.
WOW!! You ordered from NI or T&S?

Lindell TE-100 has the magic pixie dust, eh?
Yep. Demo it, they have a 14 day trial. But read the manual, then try it out and I think you will agree. It's just got something.

TE-100 is special!
Yes it is.
The Lindell TE-100 eq is really a good eq once you get use to the UI. That Acme onto comp is another gem.
The Lindell 254E is nice too.
Townsend comp is also another great comp. Excellent.

That was a good video. And he did make an excellent point about subscription plugins not updating in time and old fashion pay for plugins working.
Subscription makes the dev's fat and lazy. Like, I got all this money coming in so I can sluff off and you can't do a damn thing about it.
Watch me.

if they join the dork side (not a typo) and convert the licensing on new products to subscription models then I'll be sad to no longer be a customer

Got it sorted out now. Thanks.
What did they do? Did they remove it and the price went up? Or did it stay the same? Or did you get even a better deal!???

Amplitude. By far. Sound. Extras.
Also like Mercrial Triaxis sim and Grid Slammer sim.
But if it was.just one, Amplitude for versatility.

I just let it update to 20 something (not on machine, at work on my phone). May roll back. Have not worked with it enough.

And I didn't notice a big CPU hit either.
Forgot to mention this. For what SOC can do, the cpu hit is very reasonable.

As does Scheps Parallel Particles.
Scheps Omni Channel, when compared to Eddie Kramer stuff, I would call SOC has a more modern sound, generally. But it is much more than that. The EQ is very musical. What I mean by that is it's hard to get a bad sound out of it. I have pushed it to extremes and it still sounds good!!
The preamp/saturation works well, even when pushed. And that combo of lo/hi filters along with the saturation... it just works very well. This saturation module is worth the $29

Probably shouldn't be posting their deals. Sad that at one time they showed some promise.
Why, what happened?

They aren't over rated. They sound good. They make a difference in a mix.

Not sure Steven. But I have been working with it for about a week now. I like it.
When you load all the modules in a project and hit play on one of them, you hear all the modules together through the onboard synth.
I have not read the manual yet, but just playing around with it has gotten me almost a whole song.
Not sure so don't hold me to it, but I think it was cheaper during a covid sale. That when I got it.

Yeah I thought the same thing. That's why I suggested to read the manual. Won't take long for you to get a handle on it. It just looks weird, but it's really a simple design.
