  1. I have been using this product exclusively for over two decades, since windows XP and have never had a problem until I switched to their subscription service. I have two decades worth of Cakewalk projects that I can't work on because the behavior of Cakewalk is as unpredictable as it could possibly be. I know I have the requirements to run the software or it would not install. Just in the last hour I got ten minutes of productive work out of that hour of recording because windows pop up out of nowhere and I have to re adjust my Cakewalk recording panels all the time. I have scanned this computer thoroughly for viruses and I disconnect from the internet when recording. I have it installed on two different computers and have reinstalled Cakewalk twice on both and still nothing but erratic behavior on both computers. And it's been like this for over two years both on their previous free version and now there paid subscription. This current software is like driving an AMC Gremlin in the Indy 500. But my number one gripe is that, if I was so incompetent when I was a web developer for GE, Sunoco, Payless Shoe, etc, etc, and I linked the button that said Help and it went to the 'how many bug fixes page' of the latest update instead of the help files I would have been escorted out of the building. That show of incompetence I cant comprehend which in my opinion is carried throughout the entire Cakewalk software package and now I am stuck with Cakewalk because I would bet I have over twenty thousand hours of project time on this DAW and don't have another decade to master another DAW. And yes I tried all of your suggestions and then some but it has gotten worse.
  2. What is wrong with the engineers and software developer at Band Lab. You should be washing pots in a taco truck instead of creating software. How could you take one of the most stable DAWS on Disk format and turn it into an absolute buggy piece of crap with a subscription service. Your software crashes every single day. Every new update is worse than the last. Every time I click the mouse something unexpected happens. It adds a lane, a single track expands to the whole screen or clip properties opens up when selecting multiple clips. When you click the help button it takes me to your update page that tells me how much you suck by listing all the bugs you fixed instead of a help reference page. Its an all day pull my hair out **** show dealing with your software. It sucks!!! This is what happens when you rely on AI to write your code you lazy incompetent smucks. Learn how to code!!!
  3. Go to top right Manage Workspace. Change to a different work space, change back to your favorite workspace.
