This is a brilliant spring emulation. Got multiple vintage models and there’s a lot of tweakability. The Baxandal EQ is brilliant too. Basically you don’t need to load another EQ plugin on the track. I use it primarily on my instrument tracks. Best thing of all, it sounds great!

Yeah, the Mesa Rectifier is a tough beast to tame...... Although it has its own late 80s sound, I’d rather prefer an ENGL or a Randall for high gain crunch

These are nice libraries...... takes slightly longer to load up than others...... but all the three libraries contained under are pretty good. The instrument controls are cool too

This is a good freebie for those not having any paid NI Komplete products. It is NOT a part of Komplete Start. The Komplete Start pack contains the PLAY SERIES SELECTION which is basically a streamlined version with 10 presets, while the current freebie ANALOG DREAMS contains 100 presets. Komplete owners (including Komplete Select, Komplete 6 and others) already have this as a part of their libraries. As such, it is a BRILLIANT FREEBIE for those who don't own any paid Komplete product. However, those who have already own a paid Komplete product, there's no freebie !

Best part is you'd get not just Kontakt but also Realtor, Massive, FM8, Absynth etc. And you'll also get some beautiful Kontakt libraries like Grandeur, Gentleman, Maverick, Una Corda, Giant, etc. Not to forget the effects. And Guitar Rig5 too. Even though it is trashed quite a lot, I personally find it really useful for quick practice and even for recording since it had got some brilliant FX
