So, first, I like the song...it has a big feel. The female vocal part just isn’t on par with the rest of the song IMHO. ‘Sorry, I have no suggestions other than to have that vocal re-recorded with a better setup if possible.
Cool track.?
Hey, I like this. There are a few pitch on vocals here and there that could easily be remedied with any of pitch correction software available nowadays. Keep up the good work.?
Thanks for listening and taking the time to respond. I’m glad you liked it.
I don’t recall which guitar I originally used, either my LP with stock pups or my PRS S2 semi hollow body. But, I’m always working on my tone. I’m currently using this signal chain: Anderson Drop Top -> JHS AT stomp -> Kemper MBritt Crank-N-Go profile pack (Slo profile). I like this tone so much that I went back to a few of my songs and used this tone to EQ match the lead.
Oops, I forgot that I used my JS1000 for the whammy bar parts.?
When I was young, long, long time ago, My wife and I would often go the beaches on the weekend. It was a two hour drive so, of course, the music was Rawk'n the whole way down. This song reminds me of those days...I hope you enjoy:
Road Trip
Thanks Tom, for taking the time to listen and critique. The verb is the same on the snare through out but I get what you mean about it poking out at times and dry other times.
Yeah, I’m always working with my bass player to play with a bit more authority and the bass might need a bit more bottom provided it doesn’t compete mask the kick.
By the way, that’s not a guitar “patch.” It’s a Kemper profile...totally different animals to me.?
Thanks for listening. I’m a big Floyd fan but I don’t think I know that particular song. I’m sure there’s a bit of Floyd influence in a lot of my stuff.?
