On the plus side....It now no longer looks like they will discontinue CBL. The FAQs even say "the software will continue receiving essential maintenance updates"

These are the setting I use. I don't have all the buttons mapped but it should be easy to mapped others. The buttons I have mapped are commented except for the jog and shuttle wheel as they are self explanatory. Rewind and Fast Forward have been mapped in Cakewalk to "[" and "]". These are then mapped as "smooth jog left" and "smooth jog right" in the Shuttle configuration. Cakewalk by Bandlb.pref

Last year I took park it the IK Syntronik 2 Group buy and managed to get all 33 synth. I was low on disk space at the time so I just downloaded all the synths to an external drive to install at a later date. Now I have come to install them and I find half of the downloads are corrupted (nothing else on the disk is corrupted). So I reluctantly paid IK $10 so I could download them again. This time I will use IK Product manager to install them, but I don't know what to install. I have 23 Syntronik 2 synths, and 33 Syntronic synths. I was expecting see 23 Syntronik 2 synths and 10 Syntronik synths. Do I just install the 23 Syntronik 2 ones and 10 of the Syntronik ones that I dont see in the Syntronik 2 list?

I do not have the Break note(s) into 2.cal option

Is there a quick way to split multiple midi notes? I have a large midi clip and I want to cut all the notes in half, then resize them. It gets a bit boring splitting each note individually
-
Thanks, I'll give that a go

I’m not quite sure the best way to describe this, so here goes… When moving audio or midi clips around a track, is it possible so that when you move one clip up to another clip the clip you are moving stops when it touches the start or end the another clip.

Deleting the Realtek registry key did the trick, thanks ?
-
As far as I can see there are no Realtek drivers installed. Windows Devices Manager doesn't see the Realtek device

I am using Cakewalk with a Behringer UMC 204 with the latest drives. Whenever I try and select ASIO as the driver mode I get an error saying the Realtek ASIO driver is incompatible with Cakewalk. The motherboard does have a Realtek device, but I have disabled it in the bios. In Cakewalk Preferences > Audio > Devices, there is no Realtek device. In Windows Device Manager (Windows 11 21H2) there is no Realtek device. The ASIO driver work fine all the other apps I have installed. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks Justin

Not a Deal: Should I Use DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro?
Justin Broad replied to Reid Rosefelt's topic in Deals
As much as I would like to recommend Davinci Resolve, it runs like a dog on my Dell latitude 7490 (i7, 16gb ram, 500gb SSD). Premier Pro (the money hog that it is) runs pretty snapy -
The 1030 series is about 3 years old, you can get cards with passive cooling such as https://www.ebuyer.com/791771-msi-gt-1030-2gb-passive-lp-oc-graphics-card-gt-1030-2gh-lp-oc?gclid=Cj0KCQiA962BBhCzARIsAIpWEL0XX23qudlkA5JOIWKTU2SuMKoWq_suuiPTXOIh3Yz5zmDMvzL1MNUaAijPEALw_wcB. The prices seem to have gone up a bit recently though, but haven't all graphic cards

Justin Broad replied to Kal S's topic in Deals
Epic games have been giving away a free game every Thursday for the last few years, but STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ II, along with GTA V has probably been the best so far -
